Philly just traded for UFA Streit of the NYI. 4th round pick. Philly mentions nothing about it being conditional on signing.

EDIT: Assuming Streit gets ~ $6MM (Gonchar got $5MM) that means they’re $8.5MM over the cap, with Pronger’s $5MM LTIR.

I would be an awesome coach. No chair would be safe from my murderous rages. Pens losing would be met with pearls of wisdom like "play better you fucking pussies" etc. I would instill fear in that locker room. Not fear of losing. But fear of being stabbed at any moment.

Just saw about Bylsma and had to come over here to see what was up. I'm surprised. Clear to most everyone it was time for a change.
What sucks for the Pens is he'll never do bad enough during the Reg. season to get midseason fired and then you can get a playoff coach for the playoffs.

He's definitely on the same short leash that Bylsma should've been on. Accountability should start at the top. I still feel like with the right coach the Penguins, at the very least, wouldn't have been swept in such an embarrassing fashion.
