The Pens had a lot of depth, look at 3rd line winger Jarome Iginla
Leafs re-sign Colton Orr to a 2 year deal, because you need that player that you bench whenever the game is close. The way Toronto played against the Bruins, I was really hoping they would have figured maybe we should play skill guys, and dump the moronic facepunchers. No such luck. Will be amusing when they finish in a lottery position next season.
I look at this year's Penguins post-deadline the same way I did the Avs in 2003/04. Loaded on paper, but it just didn't work out.
MAF can be David Aebischer v2.0!
I feel like this hasnt been posted yet:
The Pittsburgh Penguins are keeping hockey's best one-two punch together through their primes and beyond.
A day after signing coach Dan Bylsma to a two-year contract extension, the Penguins and star forward Evgeni Malkin agreed to an eight-year deal that will keep the 2012 NHL MVP and franchise cornerstone Sidney Crosby in the fold well into the next decade.
The $76 million deal begins with the 2014-15 season and will carry an average salary cap hit of $9.5 million, a little bit less than the $10.6 million Crosby will average over the first nine years of the 12-year extension he signed last summer.
Bylsma: more with less or less with more.
Perfect for when your stars break down. Not so much when you leave them in charge.
ended up funnier than I expected
I had the same reaction to Horton, really, what are you
also evidently Kaner with a mullet conveys his personality really well
