Top Cop has a pretty nice wife to go with that giant ass trophy
I know North Jersey is pretty dumpy but South Jersey really isnt all that bad.
That town is like, an 1 and half away from me, lol.
Where im at is mostly suburbs/farmish. Its like 30 minutes away from Philly.
Nah, Glassboro. Camden is fucking terrible, lol.
Camden is like, right over the bridge from Philly.
Jersey is great outside of select areas; Ridgewood / Ho-Ho-Kus / etc. are nice in North Jersey. I lived in Mendham (near Morristown) for several years and it's a great place. I went to high school right near Princeton, NJ; super nice area. NY has just as many shitty places. I swear most New Yorkers pretend like Long Island isn't a part of NY; I was born on Long Island and I can tell you that, outside of the Hamptons / Montauk area, it is one of the worst places in the U.S.Originally Posted by Jornna
Ontario is fucking shit, drove through it (and MB/SK) on my way to Calgary. Took longer to drive through ON than it took to get through MB and SK lol. But once you get through SE Ontario (Ottawa/Toronto and GTA), its literally just an empty area.
Its not bad here in Calgary tbh. Its definitely no Montreal as far as a party city goes...except for the stampede, this shit better be good or I'm gonna choke a bitch.

Winnipeg may be a trash heap...but it's my trash heap!
/hisses to swipes at anybody who comes near
South Jersey is very nice; there's tons of acrage properties and farms and vineyards and all types of rural/suburban comfy living. You cross the river into North Jersey and you don't see another tree til you're 40 miles north of NYC. Industrial multifamily wasteland.
Stay away from Newark by all means possible.
So my roommate's girlfriend comes over on Friday and wants me to come out because she's meeting up with a bunch of her single girlfriends. I'm not really feeling it, but finally acquiesce and drag along one of my good girlfriends whose fiancee was out of town. Get to the bar and it's like 10 girls sitting in a cabana area in the back, most of which are about 3x hotter than I expected. One girl comes up to my roommate and me, introduces herself, and we're talking idly for a bit; I kind of zone out until I hear, "...and I'm a pretty big hockey fan." Finding real hockey fans here is tough, finding real hockey fans with boobs is extremely rare. I re-engage in the conversation and she is a legit Rangers fan; as-in she reenacted / shouted Howie Rose's entire "Matteau! Matteau!" call from heart. We spend most of the night talking and slamming Fireball shots; at some point I sort of black out. Wake up Saturday and was like "shit, probably should have asked for her number" but didn't really consider it a big loss because, while I don't think I'm a slouch, she was way out of my league. Come back from a run a few minutes ago and find out she's asked my roommate's girlfriend for my number to get dinner / drinks this week.
I love hockey. Opting to go out Friday:

Yeah finding women hockey fans is very rare. Lucky for myself I've kind of got my girlfriend to start watching with me.
