1) Confirmed that started next year if you played 25 games or less (aka rookies) will need a visor (great news)
2) They will do Hybrid icing during exhibition games, if players vote for it will carry over 2013-2014 season (another good news)

That's kind of hilarious lol, they technically just added a mandatory minor tacked on to every fighting major by a newer player.

Visors are mandatory, and taking it off before a fight is a minor, but so is starting a fight while wearing a visor. Did the BOGs forget that rule is on the books?

I think the NHL is looking to remove the 2 mins for starting a fight with a visor which is why they are prob going with 2 minutes for taking your helmet off before a fight.
