As said above, if they added something like that quest you quoted me on, hardly everything would be not worthwile. As said makeing R/E/M obsolete went overboard, makeing gear obsolete is fine. The only events that die off IF ONLY gear would have been made obsolete would have been Limbus, Salvage to some extent (ecxept if you want to farm for alex), Einherjar, Legion, Voidwatch to some extend (with the ecxeption of the Zilard NMs that drop HMP). Dynamis would have been still fine for relic armor and augmenting relic armor and getting a 99 relic to turn into the quest, abyssea would have still been relevant for people that want to get an Empy going ot 90, and Voidwatch for some equipment, makeing cash to sell HMetals for empy 99 makers etc.
The biggest hit would have taken Legion, Salvage, Limbus and PW.

I'm failing to see your point, they have obsoleted R/E/M for the time being so they have obsoleted everything linked to upgrading them. You've essentially listed every current event is dimished to some extent (ie completely).

Right now all you need is good enough gear to work on the new gear, which like I said, is leaving us with a single worthwhile event.

No, Tati Earring is Gabbrath horn x2 and a silver chain. Bonecraft got hooked up with a few things to skillup on.

Easiest would be to make a seperate recipe.

Leather 80 = Phos+1 plus the other ingrediants.

You'd need 203 pre-existing MAB before equipping the staff for magians to be better. The m.acc is essentially the same (20 equivalent on magian). Over 203 MAB is where the crossover point would be. Add up trait, gear, and merit MAB and you're probably well below 200 so this new staff is probably better (plus, it's one staff, not 6+). That said, the new MAB gear options could keep Magians on top, I haven't really looked at all of it.

Given the fact that you need 3x per synergy, this makes sense. Also, in most cases the base stats are much more separate than just 1 (+3 is typical on most of the HQ).

There are only 3% WSC differences between the upgrades for the WS now, so that should be correct.

This is faster gear grind then wow. Naakual/skrimish gear got outclasses before most people could even try the content. The new BCNMs are probably going to be AV tier hard or SE has just gave up at this point and let someone who knows nothing about the game run it.

Huh? Each merit past the first adjusts the bonus by 3% so it's technically correct. It just doesn't tell you the first merit is 73%.
