I hope a PUP got the hand to hand weapon! Mwahahahaha

Yeah, I have reservations about a group trusting an outsider to PLD on these mobs when a PLD mistake can lead to a ruined run. Especially for Tojil since I'd imagine an outsider PLD would not improvise well when it came to being weakened.
I could see a 99 daubbalhard getting invited but a pld, no way.
I will ask Dell (one of the sacs) when I get on. Pretty hard to catch those guys online unless they are doing an event.
Yeah I could see that happening, we've done it before. Although I do hate doing it. Partly because PUG BRD's aren't great at rotating but mainly because the amount of Harp BRD's who don't know how to use it properly is shocking. With how many of them that full-time that thing anybody would think it grafts itself to your hands and locks the ranged slot once you equip it.
Wouldn't surprise me if it has been killed already.
Guess I'll have to switch my GK to DEX path, that extra 6% hitrate sounds like it'd be pretty nice to have on these bosses.
I imagine you guys bring DDs to take care of the first 2 NMs and they become useless at the bee, why don't you just have one of them full time PDT and you just line up with him and spam decoy shots?
Not entirely sure how Decoy shot works. Does it proc only once like SATA or is it in effect for the whole duration? Does it work at any range as long as a person is in front of you? I imagine the DD can be with the rngs (away from AoEs but in front of the rngs) and if hate switches, he can act immediately rather than it being a "guess which ranger pulled hate" sorta thing. Worst comes to worst, the DD can just full time twilight near the mob and you can spam decoy shot everytime he reraises lol.
It's whole duration though only the first 80% of enmity before +/- enmity. Don't think distance from mib matters
It's 80% transfer, 100% avoidance with an additional -20 enmity from equipment
But why on earth would you not want them to transfer to the tank? '~'
The Bee is an absolute joke. We just did a dry run purely to see what it was like without our proper set-up and with people missing (I.e. we had no intention of actually trying to kill it). We got it to 20% in 20 mins before timing out....
100% would have won if we had taken our proper set-up. Hell, would have probably won if we didn't have our DD's stand back for the first 5 minutes just to see what it did.
Either way, complete joke. Should be easily killable by any competent group.
Took us 10 min to drop that last 20%, I wouldn't call it a joke.
You killed the first 5 NMs in 25 minutes?
If you wasted beads, what's the point in doing a dry run?
We used beads. Personally I didn't want to do a dry run/attempt until the weekend when we were full strength. But basically we didn't think we would kill it first attempt even at full strength so went in to get first hand info/experience in preparation for the weekend. We had the extra Bead set and I don't regret using it even though I was against doing the run before we entered.
Going from logger just to give you an idea of killspeed.
xx:39:57 - 100% Pulled/Positioned (4x RNG shooting at it)
xx:48:06 - 77% (2x Melee engaged at this point)
xx:54:21 - 46% (Decide to go all out)
xx:55:30 - 35%
xx:56:21 - 25% or 23% (RNG's died here from going all out and pulling hate.)
xx:57:40 - 20% (Damage just from 2 melees)
Sorry, I can't remember if it was 25 or 23 when the RNG's died but it was definitely one of the two. All the other %'s and times are accurate as they are from party chat.
Our DD's were 4 RNG + DRK + MNK. The MNK only came MNK as he didn't know what we were doing until we were about to enter lol.
Some of them were /DRG, some were /WAR I think. We stunned the hate reset move (got it off once I think at 60% ish from what stunner said). It's not just your RNG's you have to worry about though, our mages pulled hate at points too.
RNG's pulling hate at the end was avoidable if we had just slowed it down a little or their decoy dummy hadn't been dead. We actually started going all out at 55% which was maybe a minute earlier than 46% but I couldn't find the exact reference in the log. Basically someone said something along the line of 'We can probably kill this if we went all out...' and so we thought may as well try.
Sidenote, but at one point it did a move that gave weakness for like 10 seconds. That caused its HP to display properly. Only happened once though.
I could be mistaken but I don't remember seeing many high jumps being used in that period before she killed everyone. Dry run was useful though imo. For one I was on stun duty for hate reset and now we know that's not really needed (and that geo could do it fine anyway) so that position can be replaced by something more worthwhile. Ditto that feint didn't do as much as hoped so that role couldalso be replaced.
all Ceizak NM in 25-35min is doable, now saying it's an absolute joke might be too much(don't think it's possible to 100% win rate it till a few delve wpn/gear are unlocked) but we did a run mid week w/o our main setup/people on cause simply we expected it to be harder than that and wanted to learn the fight, I'm sure once most good group get the ressource (job/people) they will have a very high% of win rate on those, even more once more senbaak/tsuru will be available!
