What setup are you guys using, even though I'll most likely not be able to exact it because I'm still dealing with pugs?

-RDM to Blind, Gravity II, and Dia III
-GEO for -EVA and -DEF bubbles
-SCHs to Stun Calcyfying Mist (shaves a load of time and risk off of the fight) and backup heals if needed, but shouldn't be
-BLU for Infrasonics, Frightful Roar, and Absolute Terror on cooldown (fight shouldn't last more than three minutes, but you did mention PUG so...)
And last spot would be free, I presume. What would you recommend I fill it with to minimize problems, a second BLU?
could just use a bunch of ranger and pups too ahaha.
We always fail to stun mist.

Might as well bring rangers to kill it cause that's what you'd be doing anyways, the peiste. Can kill turtle too with rngs.
Stunnable if you hit the macro right on the TP startup animation. The problem I had attempting as solo stunner is that the thing spams TP moves with DDs zerging it, and the chat log just loves to hang back every now and then when it comes to displaying the name of the damn TP move so I can hit my macro on the right one. Had a 50% stun-rate and that's about it.
Wish my victory run was remotely near a 3min clear. Does GEO's -EVA help much on these? I've yet to get into a pug run that used one of them, probably due to their scarcity.
You should hit it fine without geo evade. Just make sure your blinder doesn't suck. Never really timed our kills but not too bad, but mist does slow it down. Ranger strat they don't get hit by mist long as you are far enough away 15+ I think. Less healing you gota worry about.
I just noticed you guys go no craftign mats;; besides the food that is.
oh btw jem, the NM only got 100-75%HP PDT- mode right?
anything for the rest of fight aside from having access to kaustra and meteor?

seems that way for the pdt, under 75% seemed normal.
I believe Turtle will be doable in 5min(or close) once all our melee get boss weapon. And soon we'll try 3 NM + Boss inside and see if it gives 40k plasm.
We do bounty shot but it seems all slot are 100% and fill with random item, all boss drop have the same number of item dropped.
There was nothing different on Tojil from 75 to death for us.
Maybe I'll test food tonight!
Cause I'm not a greedy information hoarding asshole, my observations from yesterday:
Bee seems to get a blink aura every 25% that increases its evasion like mad, and the blink absorbs some of the hits that would have gone through. I'm not sure what gets rid of it, but seems like it wears off after 6-8% of damage or so. I recommend saving feint for the aura, because without feint we were just whiffing like mad.
I think this was the main reason we timed out with 7 rngs. It would get the blink aura and we'd waste like 3-5 minutes just whiffing. It seemed to go down decently fast when the aura was down/feint was up.
Outside of that aura-time, acc wasn't too terrible with sushi, racc set, double prelude & hunters.
how much time did you save for boss fighting to time out with 7 rangers?
seems like some need to upgrade their acc gear if whiff so much though.
Bee getting an aura every 25% was already posted and macross already said to gear for racc. And racc gear set are all over ffxiah rngs forum, if OP was updated I'm sure step by step Bee/Tojil fight could be up already.
well in defence to jem, i think the info regarding the bosses thus far is throwing rngs at it since we discussed a few pages back :O
its just the beads stopping most groups from attempting more
Meh if you say it like that then I'm starting to think there has to be a trick to his aura or a way to dispel it. No reason 4 rngs can kill it in 15 mins easy peasy while 7 rngs struggle given same buffs and people having the right sets.
I think I read somewhere that a good DD group can probably zerg it and I believe it. Her TP moves arent nearly as bad as the other 2 Naakuals thats for sure
Wasn't the blink aura thing already known? I know that we knew about it before even attempting it which was why I never mentioned it.
I would say if you timed out with 7 RNG's then either your RNG's aren't good enough or weren't buffed enough. For reference, even with blink aura one of our RNG's still managed 83% acc overall so it definitely didn't impede accuracy as much as it sounds like it it did for you guys.
If there is a 'gimmick' to removing it then we're not aware of it. We just used sheer brute force.
I do resent the greedy asshole comment though. We could very easily have told people fuck all about these bosses yet we've actually posted a decent chunk of information about them.
It's going to sounds rude but either give them better buff, or suck less, we do nothing special, we just have good ranger, if your rng aren't good enough go practice hall of mul with rng setup.
