I think part of it was that nobody actually knew what our LS was called plus people probably didn't know we had openings.

I don't think bad reputation comes into it or at least I certainly hope not (I know you're just listing reasons). I'd like to think I have a decent-ish rep anyway since I've tried to be pleasant and helpful over the years and have kept my nose out of drama as best as I could. That being said, I know some people do dislike me so it's certainly possible!

Despite our Legion success I don't personally own a Duplus Grip, the one I use belongs to my wife >_>

Hello. Iwagami here.

I’d like to make an announcement about the Delve boss monster battles.

While I’m sure some of you are already aware, there have been groups that have beaten a couple of the Delve boss monsters. The first group accomplished this about 10 days ago and more have gradually begun to beat them. The bosses that have been beaten thus far are Muyingwa and Tojil.

For the party setup a couple of notable jobs were geomancer, ranger, scholar, and dragoon; however, depending on the group the jobs of their party members were different, and I have been watching everything with a lot of interest to see the differences in strategy and where emphasis is being placed on in the fight.

Dakuwaqa has still yet to be beaten, so please try your best to defeat this boss monster!

Hennetiel has the most obnoxious NMs, and Tchakka is the most annoying Naakual, so I'm not surprised no one has killed it yet (or even bothered to attempt it).

We haven't even bothered attempting it yet. We are planning on doing so this weekend. I don't think it will go well in all honesty but we shall see!

Yeah a good melee based set up can probably down it reliably given competent whms and constant debuffs/buffers. Rather than using hybrid sets since accuracy is extremely needed, I feel like DD's should just play pretty conservative. Don't WS until a tp move goes off or you're sure you won't pull hate mid animation, use PDT/MDT as a reaction to tp moves or when hates on you. People just gotta get used to this playstyle and not think OMG 100 TP SPAM JAs WS WS WS. I know our DDs can get away without hybrid sets in legion and such because stuns were good and MOST tp moves weren't too fatal, but times have changed.

Something like that, if JP are killing too mean they wiped to shark or didn't try yet.

Our Shark attempt was pretty LOL. Face planted us at 95% using all Melee.

really sucks we have so many out this week, all we can do is build sets in anticipation of them returning. I want to stomp all over some more bosses!

Just taking a stab at the monk party's strat for Tojil. +30% HP 90% of the time would probably help for survivability if that's the issue, but I certainly wouldn't want two full melee parties, +30% HP or not.

Yeah, you got it right with the mantra rotation. Fulltime mantra was a key part of the strategy as far as I know. Also formless was apparently a really big deal for the DT he has.

Doesn't sound super farfetched. I was under the impression it was a straight DT, not PDT though.
