Did the malaise testing actually test wether it was a -mdb or some kind of +mdt? Granted haven't heard of anything giving + mdt but still just wonder cause if you stack all the -mdb stuff it gets pretty awesome

I don't see how Malaise/MDB would affect it. All the damage calculations are done using your attack and the mob's defense, then the damage is converted from physical to spiritual/non-elemental. By that logic, MAB would affect it too.

MAB and MDB are two sides of the same coin. If MAB doesnt affect formless, then MDB shouldnt either. Bgwiki states that "most magical defenses" will reduce formless damage but it doesnt really say what those are.

If I had to guess i'd say pretty much just +/-MDT

Perdurable Raptor: The listed weaknes is basically to not do any magic related damage to it but for the most part we also dont do debuffs at all either.

So i just want confirmation because these last 2 times in delve someone did SOMETHING to it and it went batshit. What EXACTLY causes the thing to go nuts

Did your PLD use reprisal? Did you have a mandau THF?

I'm actually unsure if the enpoison on mandau procs his madman-mode but I didn't have pleasant runs the last time I did it. Could be unrelated though.

As far as i know only WS being used was Tachi: Shoha and sams were informed numerous times to not Konzen Ittai

Well I've even had that problem in lss... ok everyone don't attack nms... someone attacks nm. gdi stop that oh ok. A few minutes later 5 people attack an nm... gdi for the love of god why did you do that we just went over this didn't we... well I know you said not to but um well it aggroed someone so I had to... /facepalm

yes SC does make it go apeshit and most likely kill your local DD

enfeebles that dont do any magic damage will not trigger it

for raptor we gave up on "do not do magic" already since its definately going to get SCed by massive WSs spam

just make PLD get hate throughout and ranger pew pew it down (for boss runs) if the drk or drg has to die, then so be it, he will prolly have done enough DPS already to die like a champ

the thing is if your doing boss attempts and not sealing raptor, then u wont have MNKs (unless u doing mnk melee style)

if you guys just killing it for fun then just go whichever setup and die if you have to no biggie

Doesn't the zone have a periodic super attack buff no matter what you do I thought like the CB zone has basically perfect dodge and you just have to survive it? We been attempting to low man it and its mfing evasion is off the charts I hit 80% last night and adding more tonight the first night we fought it forgot about how high it's evasion was and man a 33% hit rate was a heart stopper...

Does something signal the mode change maybe when it happens turtle up in pdt gear and then back to normal when its over...
