You can use Montenten's spreadsheets to see your projected accuracy from merits//gear/DEX/buffs - very handy tool. Just have a look at [Data] tab. Give mob on the [Setup] tab ~900 Evasion and you can see your expected Hit Rate on Delve boss too.

For example, with all possible buffs on (SV songs, rolls, acc food, Boost-DEX, Agressor) etc, this random gearset for Impetus UP I have loaded in the spreadsheet at the moment would need extra +50ACC to cap accuracy against a +900EVA enemy:

I just started piecing together MNK yesterday so I have not parsed them. I'll have firm data in the next day or so.
2x Marches +5 and Haste gives you capped magic Haste (470/1024, cap is 448). A Monk with Rigor Baghnkahs has 540 base delay, so their minimum delay is 108 and their starting delay with Martial Arts is 340. (1-108/340) = 68.25% Haste, so you need about 251/1024 from gear to cap. So yeah, going 24%-25% in a monk TP set like Taint posted is fine.
Asuran Fists's description claims "Accuracy varies with TP", but I don't know whether there's a native penalty (a la Sidewinder), boost, or just no effect until you use >100 TP. Can anyone guess?

People have been complaining about their hit rate and stacking Acc (and attack) for Asuran for years, but it is unclear whether this just reflects their shitty understanding of statistics or some actual Acc penalty. Given how overboard people typically go on Acc (and attack) for the WS (because 10% STR/VIT mods are shit), I'd be unsurprised to learn that it has some kind of penalty.
I'd also, however, be unsurprised to learn that it has an Acc boost and people just don't understand statistics at all. If it does have some kind of Acc boost, it might outshine Shijin Spiral (on average) against enemies where WS Acc isn't capped.
If there's any way to go about testing it, I wouldnt' mind participating.
As for ppl complaining. I always geared towards known eva values and never had any noticeable problems with asuran outside of the pure statistics of it.
The problem I currently see is that there are few monsters in the game atm that Monk has uncapped hit rate on and won't kill you. You'd basically have to go to a Morimar Fracture group and spam Asuran Fists with specific gear sets while recording your TP returns (assuming we even know the monsters' Evasion/Defense).
Asuran is 8 hits, so Double Attack isn't an issue. Every WS is 8 samples, so one Fracture run with an Asuran set that you would predict would come in around an 80% hit rate should tell you. If you come out with a >90% hit rate, it has a bonus. If you come out with a <70% rate, it has a penalty. If it's somewhere between there, it doesn't matter enough to consider.
Does Oaxitur beat out Rigor for boss kill or can it not because of the immense amount of acc on Rigor? Kind of ironic if it can't!

nvm I'm retarded, holy shit I never noticed the acc before...
For some reason I remember reading (years ago) that it had a small penalty at 100 tp, -5 or -10%, and as it moved up to 300 TP it eventually converted into an accuracy bonus. Of course take that for what its worth, I tried scanning all the likely locations I'd find info and can't find it again.
Ruinator has +20ACC at 100TP and +35 at 200, so if Asuran works on the same basis (which isn't beyond reason) it's probably just a small bonus at 100~200.
yes just bosses, idk why you would ever want to wear that gear set on fodder. I prefer it over Taint's set because it offers some other things, like the 4% HP on the gloves.
What was the assumed EVA of the raptor in fracture again? And that's the highest EVA boss in the zone(other than Tojil?), yes?
