Does stunning roar on pull prevent attack down aura?

We only tried it once but didn't notice as it was one of our early RNG kills. We were doing it to see if it would stop it getting the PDT for first 25% as it was before mechanics was known.

I think Roar gives it Def Up and MDB or MDT though.

We start WS on chapuli @20%. You just have to make sure the RNGs time it properly so it doesn't do 0 damage.

For light: coronach <> last stand

darkness: coronach <> coronach

We don't use/have yoichi RNG but namas <> namas is light also.

We also Eagle Eye Shot the chapuli (and barrage of course) to speed it up. Also needs to be timed appropriately (during casting probably best).

before chapuli hits 20% i assume you guys use those TP for flies?

I constantly use all abilities on thf on it as well as /dnc stuff. Can even stun it's spells sometimes. Either way never a problem

Probably I have shield bashed them too but can't speak for barrage.

im pretty sure MNK strat works on all 3 NM given how tojil is the most HP and still downable within 50 stuns

managed to kill the raptor NM (shard II) in morrimar with 6 people MNKx3 WHMx2 BRD, really easy. took 10minute ish.

I wouldn't say that's conclusive unless he was spamming Violent Flourish on recast. That's the only thing THF/DNC has that would count as a direct dmg JA (SA/TA just enhance normal attacks).
