There is some minor but crucial information missing on wiki for Muyingwa, Stinging Volly also gives ST20 - Zombie effect.
With RNG Method, if you do Pugil and Uragnite then you're talking a good 30 mins on Shark. 35+ mins if you're quick on the run and pull/buffing/dealing with aggro.
i was hoping/thinking the gimmick for craklaw is found fully before i try since i got a set of III and IV beads
still need to mura sam burn crab for bead tho but good to know snail weakness...
just need to find craklaw weakness ><
Muyingwa absolutely does gain some sizable PDT/MDT or defense for the last 20-25%, or it can do at least. Took like ~6mins to get it to 25%, we got it to 18% and wiped with the AoE spam and the fact melees CE was probably hitting the floor and mages were pulling hate. Pld sac hold it for 5mins while everyone unweakens, full buffs up again and it still takes 10% of the damage it was before, wipe again at 14% and not enough time to re-engage for a 3rd time.
Looking at log it seems to be a gradual increase in PDT/MDT or defense as we started hitting for less several minutes prior but when we re-engaged it with 8 NQ songs,4 rolls,Geo debuffs, dia Oatixur MNKs were hitting for 10-60 damage. Formless seemed to help a little with damage (eyeballed so maybe it didn't) but not much, but we were still unable to do enough damage to keep hate off mages. We did obvious stuff like dispel, no effect.
Wouldn't at all surprise me if all 3 mobs have the same mechanics regarding damage types with each getting a 25% period where you deal increased damage, a 25% period of shit damage and a 50% period of normal damage.
We know it's definitely present for Tojil (Magical > Piercing > Slashing > Blunt). It seems like it's present for Daqsafaysfy too. We didn't notice it for Muyingwa but admittedly we just RNG burned the shit out of it without paying much attention.
Muyingwa's 'Magical weak/FFFFUUUU physical' phase is probably 25 > 0 then. For Shark I'd tentatively put that phase at 75 > 50 judging from my RNG damage in the surrounding 100 > 75 and 50 > 25 period.
Like I said, formless barely made any difference (if any), we didn't have any piercing DDs but we had a Drk and his damage went to shit at the same time also.
There definitely was no issue with buffs falling or being dispelled since even when we re-engaged with everything up damage was still fucked.
its alway been reported and also confirmed in JP WIKI that muyingwa gain PDT every 25% phase (hell like Jem said, it may even be same like tojil just diff % diff weaknesses)
first 25% seem to be double damage? then then cuts 50% every 25% after
seeing it had only 750k HP with the DTs ur looking at possible same killtime to tojil, just mad annoying hate reset WS, you can just dia every 25% 30 times or so to remove blink, and that brings down the eva aura
for rng setup i would say first 75% will take like the same amount of time as the last 25% (directly opposite of tojil)
except that last 25% is when mobs go bongers so u may need luck for its WS usage.... Bolster and spirit surge that last 25% maybe?
Just wanted to say thx for all the info ppl have shared. We are doing a few more practice runs then getting one more Kurma bead and going to do our 1st 2 tojil.
We did 3 practice runs yesterday. We pulled nm's and since we didnt bead any i think 2 runs we had eft too and just sac'd him off. Pld held t1 with rdm, nuking for physical weakness. Mnks got buffs when pld pulled nm's which took under a min. If raptor was in south area 1 mnk grabbed it in pdt gear and brought it to group. We buffed rotated songs/rolls and killed raptor by the time t1 was at tp#4, we waited then downed t1 and we waiting at Tojil door with 30min+ each run. Longest part was the pld sac run to tojil. And we were down 4 jobs for these runs. We had no schx2, 1 geo and no drg. So pretty happy how we did.
Gimmick for crackclaw is known, just alot simpler to just throw mura at it mindlessly. Krab no idea, but throw mura at it works fine lol. How are you killing krab if not using muras? Just use those mura on crack too!
Snail takes 12k sidewinders when fully debuffed, maybe even more lol but that's as high as we've hit so far.
Yeah formless strike work for crab/cracklaw and is prolly better with oatixur. If next update is early july and offer new delve boss, looks like they planned to content right to last till next update.
Also I wonder if they will make them immune to stun or simply make new delve give a new "form of currency", cause with current price, doesn't feel like they expected us to be able to get 70k+/45min.
Bee gains -DT after 75%. Stunning droning whirlwind doesn't prevent it. My ranged attacks went from 800+ to exactly 307 without angon. They remained at 307 under 50% as well, so there was no additional -DT at that point. Not sure about 25%.
Wildfire/nuking works fine on the krab, if no mura SAMs.
Could fight craklaw like matama, I suppose? Absolute terror to extend his weakness to physical.
Could easily be that your 800+ from 100 > 75 were assisted by bonus damage. Would fit in with Tojil. 1 strong period, 2 neutral periods, 1 weak period.
That being said, even if it's Neutral / Small DT / Large DT then it still kinda fits.
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but it seems that Muyingwa takes fewer stuns than Tojil to hit the resist wall (or it did for us, at least). We attempted to stun all TP moves/spells and it seemed to start resisting on the 24th stun and fully resisted by the 30th.
It was under 25% when it began resisting, also, so not sure if it just has a greater resistance to stun than Tojil or if it gets some sort of meva boost under 25%.
Do breath type attacks trigger the raptor's rage?
So, we were having a discussion today in our linkshell and I ended up confused about what might be better for mnks in delve, particularly at tojil(for now). When mnks use formless strikes(assuming they have 5/5 merits) is it worth it to keep melee cyclas +2 on for the extra 10% dmg it gives(testing for this was not thorough)?
I'm not necesarily proposing this as an improvement to what's already being done, but wondering if anyone has tried this already and if so, has any sort of numbers to compare it to using manibozho or thaumas at tojil. If not, maybe i'll be fortunate enough to test it myself soon.
Here's the simple idea:
formless strikes @ 1 merit = 3 minutes & 60% dmg dealt
formless strikes @ 5 merits = 3 minutes & 80% dmg dealt.
formless strikes @ 1 merit(AF2+2) = 3min 6 sec & 62% dmg dealt.
formless strikes @ 5 merits(AF2+2) = 3min 30 sec & 90% dmg dealt.
*this assumes that the extra 10% dmg from AF2+2 is in fact correct, and just not listed on bgwiki correctly.
Anyone who has the melee cyclas +2 is gonna swap it on for the extra 30 seconds it gives upon activation. But is it worth keeping on for the extra 10% dmg? or do you think you'd gain more than 10% dmg from thaumas coat or manibozho jerkin while formless is up?
Thanks in advance!
