It doesn't have +10% dmg on real server, this was test server only.

well, that clears that up nice and fast. Someone should clarify that on the testing pages on the wiki, it is unclear in the links for the testing. Anyways, thanks for the info!
Edit: I see what Yugl said about it, and either i'm not understanding something that he said about it in the post about relic+2 armor, or it's still unclear. gonna go lightly test this myself and see on some umbrils.
If you mean the Salvage II post, that was when we thought the effect was enhanced dmg. I haven't tested myself, but I think we received the info from a magazine?
First clear for Catalyst LS. Thanks to everyone for the strategies and tips!
grats guys ^^
Can anyone attempt to communicate with the JP's who took down the shark? The reward for killing all three is probably one of the last mysteries of delve, aside from any unknown weakness triggers.
trying muyingwa soonish and wanna get some timing right
killing twitherym + chapuli in 20 mins is ok? or too much.... we did our first practice run earlier with 5 rngs(1 had to leave) and both twitherym and chapuli was at 20% (16 min after pull)
i read about many people taking forever on the 2 NMs and boss dies faster than the initial 2 NM...
what is average kill time on muyingwa for a rng pt that kills tojil in 20 mins?
bah dbl post laggy server
Think our first bee, 2 nms took around 17 minutes for both? Bee was around 22 minute kill.
Hopefully peeps show up and shark will die tonight. If not peeps out of town after today so dunno when next one will be hehe.
We tried Shark + 5 NMs last night and got to shark with about 20-25 minutes left. Basically same strategy as Tojil except swap the MNKs with Mura SAM's, got shark down to 54%ish. It was sloppy getting it there. It started resisting stun, and the single target / Sobek type TP move (KO's if HP is low) kept getting us. I will admit that we starting singing a bit early and lost about 4-5 minutes of JA songs, but I still don't think we could've killed it.
It seems entirely possible to farm 5 + boss on this zone as well, but not as easily (yet) as Tojil. We are going to switch to locking all but Urganite and Pug and using a RNG strategy to get our win then farm up plasm from Tojil.
Faded Craklaw: Mura SAM WS, and other DD try to WS directly after. This seems like a damage type balance fight. If you get stuck hitting for 0's have a SCH or RDM nuke. (Mura SAM/Formless MNKs?)
Aberrant Uragnite: Debuff the hell out of it and Zerg. Impact is your friend.
Divagating Jagil: Stun and Zerg
Nerrivik: Stun charm and zerg.
Krabakarpo: Stun venom shower and zerg. (Mura SAM/Formless MNKs?)
Boss: When HP bar is visible, SCH stop trying to stun and nuke thunder, COR's use Thunder shot. We tried to turn to stop feeding it TP when it's HP was visible, it still used a lot of TP moves, but we still think less then if we would have been hitting it. We aren't sure if it's aura is damage based, or number of hits based (like the bees shadows was around 30). Do not run if you see it ready the KO move, you have a better chance of surviving the closer you are to the mob. Also maybe swap in resist death rings? Shadow / Eihwaz. You can anticipate the HP bar being visible at the 25% intervals and prepare. Mages need to be sure they are always outside of range of the KO move.
It maybe possible / better to have 4 MNK's for this too and split up formless for each NM. Use 2 on one (at different times), then 2 on another. That mantra might help with not getting KO'd by the boss and when you have def down you get hit for over 1k sometimes.
Provided you kill the cracklaw first and the krab last there is no reason to split up formless, either that or just have the mnks use formless only > random deal > then use other JAs.
Use melees other than mnk ,drk or drg is really going to hurt your damage at this point (assuming you have beaten muyingwa/tojil previously).
We kill what we see first, there is no order really. Setting an order slows you down typically. This fight would be simple if that shield didn't cause it to resist stun. We know thunder damage causes it to fall, but is it only thunder damage? Or is it magic damage? If its magic damage in general it maybe possible to formless it down as well. We did 2 fights last night, 1st was horrible, we got there with 15 minutes left and had a bunch of deaths while we learned the pre-fights. Second was better and we got it to 50%. I think with a MNK strategy swap we could win, either by using formless to down the shield or thunders from SCH / COR.
As far as I know from the JPs on my server who got it to 10%~ with SAM+DRK DDs, they believe it just to be thunder magic/thunder shot. Depending on resist rate it may be beneficial to take a sch/rdm over a rdm and rotate en-thunder on DDs (preferably mnk obviously) before each 25%. Enspells last 7.5mins with perp so its possible they may last 2 shields before needing to be put back up.
Edit: When doing Tchakka I'd notice shield would someitmes come off almost instantly and other times it would last past the initial volley of thunder shots, so purely damage based seems unlikely (ofcourse it could be completely different for delve version)
