In fairness, nobody in our LS wants to try stunning because of how harsh we are on people when they fuck up >_>;
It didn't seem that bad stunning when I was doing it on DRK those 2 times but it's definitely not something I would want to do fulltime.

Yeah try being the guy whose fault it is when you fuck up and wipe everyone. Not fun at all. SE needs to fix it so that one guy screwing up can't wipe you.
Should just make everything stun immune, tired of those fear tactics involving stun locking mob!
My first attempts at stunning were pretty bad. After turning off all player animations, turning on enough filters that only the bare minimum was getting through, and angling the screen so that I could see the mob, but cut off about half of the players, I had no issue with stunning in a timely manner. I can watch for the animation, check the chat log for the move it's readying, and still nail the stun. However I can still miss stuff at the start if I'm not given time to set things up just so.
I will note, however, that there is a huge gap in the 'perception' of how long it takes to ready a move when viewed as a DD compared to when viewed as a backline mage. As a DD, I can see the moves get readied and feel like I have all the time in the world to get ready for them. I can't imagine a stunner missing it when it's so obvious, and so much time is available. Filters open and animations on seem to be irrelevant. As a backline stunner, if I'm not hovering over the key ready to twitch the instant I even think something might be about to happen, I'll miss the stun by a mile. I can't explain the difference, but I experience it all the time.
It might also explain why, when possible, I prefer to stand right in with the DDs when I'm whm. It feels like I have all the time in the world to deal with anything that happens, while it feels like I'm constantly pressured with no time at all when I'm standing way in the back.
Going to try to do skillchains tonight if we end up doing Tojil. Drakesbane -> Shijin, Dragon kick -> Ground strike, and Asuran fists -> ground strike should cover all 3 levels, have a feeling level 3 might have a higher chance to break than level 1 if this works at all so will have to try it out. I imagine darkness would be fairly common for a RNG setup though so I guess that one's already out
I've always felt Tojil was easy to see/stun. It crouches down when it readies TP moves so there is a really noticeable change in stance for animation stunning. I normally have a good 2-3 seconds of leeway when stunning.
Yeah, stance change when he's readying stuff makes it really easy if you just watch for that.
Just did another run with RNG and beads to get some more people the clear before we switch to DDs for 5NM+Boss. Was a bit messy but manageable. Lots of masks
Gonna see what these Tsurumarus can do!
Can Tsurumaru find out why kids love the taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch?
getting good at foret lel doing better here than morimar

8min fight 10min left in zone
NOT SURE WE WOULD'VE WON WITOUT NATEN COUNTING
Hope next update bring more and harder boss, I can't wait to see how strong NM/boss will be now that they can expect us to have delve boss wpn for next tier of content! Also wonder if they will make Ionis give more save tp next update I guess we're back to sam > all!
First 5NM+Shark! interesting fight, we had to tweak some stuff to get better cures and less dmg taken

War's attempt to avoid the screenshot from getting posted failed it seems.
Either Incinerating Larhar or Weakness itself imparts some kind of Accuracy Down or gives Tojil some kind of Evasion Buff. DDs went from 90-95% accuracy to 69-70% accuracy after that TP move.
What songs are you using on Daku with the 5 NM setup? Wondering mainly if Scherzo or Minne is pointless.
50 is the cap for Save TP which is already achievable for Tsurumaru with either a lucky or XI Miser's Roll (with the +5 from Ionis). Extra save TP would make it easier to hit the cap (IX or X would also cap with another +5) although I'm pretty sure if you're saving snake eye for miser's you can probably hit V or XI ~50% of the time. I did it every single time in the one run I was in where we had a SAM pt, but there was some luck involved.
Just killed Tojil with 1 SCH/BLM as the only stunner (me) and COR. I used 5 charges, rasa for 3:30m, used 4-5 charges, told COR when to random deal me, used 4-5 charges, told COR to wild card, 4-5 charges, random deal, etc. although we got lucky and he reset my 1-hour, so I just used rasa again. None of the MNKs had oatixur so the fight took relatively long, but strategms were never an issue. I probably would not have run out even without 1-hour reset. Something to try for people who don't have 2 SCH/BLMs. The COR can also provide warlock's roll and caster's roll, which is enough -recast to stun back-to-back (no need to rotate BRD in, or even embrava, as long as SCH's gear is good).
