I was wondering how big of a difference the allowance of RCB and the base attack would be on DRK, since Reso has an attack penalty. Well, the extra attack given by Senbaak makes Resolution really, really stupid. Pulled 1142 dps on Tojil tonight with LR being down for the first 35%~ or so.
I generally remember dps being in the upper 9s but never breaching 1000. SE broke the game
edit: Oh, and Kurma melts now. Sub 3 minute fights even with Tortoise song in the first 10%.
Lot of people on my server getting wins for the first time tonight. Yeah, these fights are definitely joke status now, barring the occasional slow heal or missed stun. But even with that, there should be plenty of time to recover.
Should rekindle lots of people's interest. KI merc service will prob drop dramatically too.

For the people that been clearing since some of the first wins it is :/. I always liked the idea of making something hard and then dumbing it down for the general public after initial launch. Good shells get the gear first (and sell drops) but doesn't limit the rest of the player base. We can always expect SE to hand hold the populace given enough time.
This update has made the current tier of Delve menial, it's not as fun as it was yesterday... its just got a shit ton easier, requires less focus and thought, in general, just feels like Abyssea-era again.
Any pickup group with some basic structure and organization should be able to clear these bosses now, even more so if you bead the annoying mobs (like Gnat/Scorpion in Ceizak) - this isn't a bad thing, but it leaves me wanting more of the 'tougher' Delve.
I think you guys are confusing the majority of xi players now sucking tons and tons of ass with content being hard, rotate sv> stun to win wasn't terribly challenging (for some people)
If the update removes some of the job-ism (that's what I call it) and makes these winnable with more than 1-2 setups, it's a success.
People are never happy - when bosses first came out, people complained that they couldn't clear them with their six best frands and their nine alts and had to actually recruit members and fill a linkshell. Now that it's easy, people are back to complaining again rather than just farming it happily and enjoying the fact that it's a little less strenuous now (not that it was really THAT hard before, but I welcome the fact that we can full clear Foret in less than 35 minutes without any Mura SAMs).
Anyway, don't worry. Yumcax and Hurkan versions will be hard when they come out.. for a few months.
It just got "easier", coz all that +skills, acc/atk for Melee and macc from the gears for stuners, SE havent nerferd Delve.... yet.
If next delve is harder, will stay the same unless SE nerf it directly, but old(current) Delve havent been nerfed, players just got buffed so sadly for all you leet players, the collateral damage was that things got easier.
I used to triple box Salvage II, BR II, in 45 mins, skipping gears, yesterday did full clear, even with gears in 50 mins. Killed NQ cerberus w/o even needing Formless... did clear first floor in 7 mins when used to take me 15-20....
but all these are just for players who have "updated" gear, Mega Boss Weapons/gear, ppl still dont understand that iLVL > All, most of the things we are loosing using this gear are the multi-atks...
it wasnt all about stun and SV rotation your backline and your frontline needed to be on point. now its just bah whatever
How do you kill the Krab without Mura in a timely fashion? Or do you just grind away on him since the other 4 mobs die so fast? Stuck on perma SAM since I have Mura and would love to come a different job.
Delve went from hardcore to LOL pretty damn quickly. (too fast IMO) Atleast it will make farming plasma extremely easy. I wanted to hoard a bunch in time for new Delve and incase it is used to upgrade REM.
You don't need bot to stun shit if poeple having trouble then just animation stun everything with 2 sch recast is RARELY a issue maybe 1/100 casts u might have 1-2 sec left if charges down and even if 1 calc mist gets off u should still be killing in 3-5min. And on toji Ithink resist has to do with fight time not stuns on are early fights we did 50_60stuns before resist which was always near 10min mark . Can also use 1sch 1 rdm for stun .. Ihave 11 sec recast on rdm with marchs up. So that's basically same as sch with no stratgems.

obviously your comment was towards me on not bringing a pld. but no where did i see any argueing, kinda sad when someoneone has a difference on opinons its considered argueing. each LS does what works for them. we dont need a pld to get to NMs we'd rather clear adds and such. its just smoother for us. we never are in a rush on time. thats all.
but basically now the fights are a complete joke. 1-5 the NMs in 17mins and waiting at the Megaboss with 25+ mins. Killing all adds on the way. Not seeing the beads being used for anything but plasm now. or unless you dont have a mura sam and wanna bring different jobs on runsto get wins for ppl w/o the ideal jobs.
Half of the LS didnt use food to see how ACC was, 90~95% on tojil. geo's didnt use evadown either. but instead atk down on mob. But acc songs were still used. But stuns are still key and not being a total tool. PUGs will definetly start winning now though. But seeing the same jobs being shouted for.
