Tried to farm bead, 0/7 on Matamata, anyone having more luck ?

Went 1/1 on Bead from Matamata nothing special just killed him lol. Did notice that when our magic dmg went away he swapped into the super pdt mode. When I unweakened I was doing 50k Shoha's. Didn't know if anyone mentioned anything about him staying in a certain mode or swapping even further into that mode based on the type of dmg that was being dealt to him the most.

Meh prolly as lame as shadow VNM, gonna shout and try to stock bead before everyone do it.

k pretty simple but I think we just figured out Kurma. Since his Harden shell can be a bitch to dispel we started using N/T Finale's and when Harden Shell was constantly dispelled it boosted dmg output by about 3 times what we were putting out. Magic dmg also increased while we did this. Not saying you're going to need a party of BRD's lol but have 2-3 and maybe random dealing them if necessary would make taking this down wayyyy easier.

Bufferfly certainly would be, assuming you have a few RNG.

Formed another alliance of BLU/THFs - this time for Faded Craklaw (Tier I) in Foret
PLD BRD WHM RDM BLU/THFx13 SAM/THF (ls friend)

BRD, WHM, RDM were all there to support PLD only.
Was not sure how well SA benthic would do on it.

I opened with AZ + CA + EF + SA + Benthic, and it did ~2000 ... so I was like, oh crap in for a long fight ...
Next SA benthic also did 2000, so was not sure what happened first time, damage was about the same as gnat.

We were making steady progress on taking its HP off, tick by tick, then something strange happened.

A blu's benthic did ~10000 - he took hate from pld for a while, until another blu SATA the pld.
Then, another blu did ~12000 benthic
Then, a blu did a ~22000 benthic
Then, I did a 55900 benthic
Hate got a little crazy for a while, but its HP dropped so fast we didnt care.

It obviously take extra damage under some circumstance - did not figure out the pattern it may be random.

We killed it in 10 minutes well before rage.

From what we could determine when we killed it, he was taking the extra damage while readying / using tp / magic abilities.

Little note for Orobon: brought a BLU to fight to assist with stunlock before lanterns broke and to prevent Seismic Tail spam. BLU tried Absolute terror and it stuck both times, each time lasting 20-30 seconds.

Yeah debuffs seemed to stick really well on mobs in Foret. When we did the big crab I was on sch with no enfeebling gear and still managed to land Silence, Para (but not slow), even while he was raged.

If I were going to make my own group for wamoura, what would my set up look like?

Joined 4 pick up pts today, fighting it both inside and outside and didn't even come close to having a worthwhile attempt at it

DDx3 BRD COR WHM x3. Make sure you have the ability to land various enfeebles to lower the DT, do SV song swaps after DT is lowered. Do it inside the fracture if you don't have the ability to kill it post rage, you will have 30mins to fight it at your leisure.

Are you trying to kill before it rages or do you just want a win for your KI?

Tons of ways to do the latter, just need to throw time (and SMNs) at it. One hour of your time for your KI isn't too unreasonable if it's the only way you're going to get it imo (no LS, crappy shouts, etc).

the scorp is time-loss because of his AOE stun move he spams that deals no dmg with debuff but it drags the fight out horrible. you can get hit from it 30 yalms away. the chapuli and moth seem ro be the best ones, if you can lock the other 3 out.

3 well buffed DD parties, preferably 1 pld to hold it at start while its DT is high (a good melee can do it np but you're using pickup people). As said inside is best since you get 30mins to play with it.

Should still be able to farm plasm fairly well inside right? Maybe not 8-9k/run, though.
