It's hard to believe because I'm pretty sure you need the Chocobo Shirt in order to eat Gysahl Greens
Bleh maint about to hit and couldn't get turtle/peiste done this morning.
Looks like war goes into retirement for a while
the peiste isnt that hard. have someone dedicated on blind, have your backline be competent on cures and debuff removals. I would recomend haveing 1 sch/blm going for blind and going stun mode like in Legion, helps a ton on the support line in preventing 1/3 of its TP moves. Rest is just Zerg.
I heard that Jagil took an increase in damage to the opposite spell it aligns itself with, but it could simply be that it doesn't have any -mdt applied to it when in that elemental mode and nukes are landing for normal damage. But yeah more of a strategy and less of a gimmick unless it took extra damage.
Also I tried to translate jp wiki on the T1 butterfly in Ceizak and lolgoogletranslate seemed to indicate something about the NM being weak to the element of the same day?
The peiste is easily doable in 4 minutes... Rotate brds, cor buffs, 2 hours, keep it blind and go to town. Should die in less than 5 minutes.
Peiste is actually quite easy if you keep blind on it and have a dedicated sch/blm to stun. Even with mist going off several times last night and only 3 of our DDs being relatively well geared we still downed it in 13 minutes. You have plenty of room for error so don't worry about not being able to get the clear post-maint.
On a more random, common-sense note -- we started trying to farm beads last night in Ceizak. After getting a bead from the chapuli, I was about a tenth of a second away from accidentally eating it when I went to reapply food.
So, whenever you get a bead, just immediately put it into your mog sack to avoid any potential heartache. Being able to eat valuable pop items isn't something we're traditionally accustomed to, haha.
That post makes me glad they're adding a depop time
^lold and so true
it was pretty much our first fight, so we had no idea what we were doing. we kept it blind until it raged, but couldnt do enough damage.
I was stunning stuff as SCH so i couldnt see anyone's DMG, but we had a few 99 relics and 2 NQ brds.
I'll freely admit we arent a super pimp group, but there seems to be a disconnect between what you experienced and what we experienced.
Just adding some Krabakarpo info as my LS downed it last night.
Typical crab abilities. Scissor guard, bubble curtain, bubble shower with was massive -str and defense down, and big scissors.
Venom shower is not every 20%. He did the first one at 87%, everyone following that was completely random. We fought him for awhile, and he did it at least 25 times if i were to guesstimate. f you're 20.5' distance away you will not get hit. Venom shower has same debuffs as bubble shower. Str and def down, just also has the heavy poison that cannot be taken off.
We used sams to SC and avatars to magic burst and that worked really well.
