was the rdm unable to blind (as in no enfeeb skill gear /m.acc staves). Or did he never see when blind went off? Besides a sch/blm or /rdm can blind it just as easy. I have 6 m.acc magian trial staves, so stickign most debuffs for me is no problem unless there is a strong immunity involved. Blind didnt get resisted once from the peiste.

The peiste is easily blinded by BLM/SCH with capped skill and mid/h.q. enfeebling set.
Didn't get resists.

That RDM is just godawful. (like most mages :/)

My group tends to get them to about the same amount in the first 15 min in as out. However at lower hps inside they have done morr dmg then pre raged outside. But then tend not to get them low outside prerage sooo who knows

I think this has to do with the message that boosts mob stats up, maybe affects NMs too. fight goes totally regular and then bam it hits for a short amoutn like madness, didnt check for the message.

Yeah but who has seriously geared up there rdm in awhile lol? I mean it was my first job and love and I could probably scrounge around some old gear and gear from my blm and blu but yeah I'd imagine that's what a lot of people would do. You want me on what!?! Let me see what I got lol

Possibly. I don't think they're necessarily more damaging, but it's possible they have more HP. Chapuli and scorp both took longer inside than out. Always 1 drop for us as well.

True lol, but you'd think they'd scavenge some relevant gear, given that landing that spell is part of what's keeping the fight from going sour.

Also, NMs inside Fractures, are they harder than their overworld counterparts?

After reading All these posts and doing a few myself. I was thinking... The outcomes of the battles seem to be either A) really easy and killed fast or B) horrible long fights and wipes.. on the same mob.. with or without gimmick. So could it be aftermath that effects these mobs? could it be that simple?

the RDM had no problem landing blind, just wouldn't look out for the "xxx's blind wore of" so you'd wiff til the rdm could find blind in there spell list which was 10 seconds to 1 min at one point

Mine is still geared... not like it's hard. Most of the enfeebling pieces are all AF anyway.

Surprised it hasn't been brought up by now (Sorry if it has and I overlooked!) but Exuviation doesn't remove Brd debuffs. So don't count on Brd debuffs for Exuviation on Tax'et, although they're nice to have on anyways for the fight in general. Generally I try to prioritize Nocturne before doing the others if Night/troub is up, which is generally after the Brd swap. The others land pretty easily without Nitro. I mention Nocturne mostly because it seems very nice when the DDs start actually taking Tax'et down (Noticeably longer spell casting, etc).

This would be the second trick. Silence to keep the Jagil from using enspells and then have mages cast the element opposite (earlier post I'll link it later) of what it just casted for more damage since it casts spells in order.

And until they get the elemental spell fix in, you can just get it to rotate through until it hits the elemental weakness you want to hammer on, then Silence it and drop the hammer.
