What about the cracklaw? are mages 100% necessary? or just find the right direciton?
What about the cracklaw? are mages 100% necessary? or just find the right direciton?
Double post <_>
I don't know why, but I really want the Chapuli to force people to synchronize WS so instead of it reacting to 6 it reacts to them as 1. Auto-attacking is just booooring.
that's why we used all vere mnks for clears that needed blms, light e'rywhurr
It's possible WSing the chapuli while its casting/using a TP move doesn't increase its evasion. We did that until low %, and then started WSing whenever, but he got too evasive at 9%. When we WSed whenever from the beginning, he got too evasive around 75%.
you need to go to the file Windower4\addons\battlemod\Data\filters\filter.xml , and edit it there. for the filters, if it is labeled as true, then it should filter the data. Also, there is a different filter file if you are on DNC, WAR, or WHM, so if you are playing those jobs, then you need to edit those as well
Just killed Uruganite in Fracture, was a complete push over. Goes into shell with Doom aura approx every 25% (did it at 75 50 25 for us). We did 1 SC MB and it would immediately come out. Regens slowly in shell. Pretty simple fight.
Edit was 17 min kill ish, so easily doable outside too.
Anyone got info on how to down Cracklaw in under 20 mins? Direcitona damage seems a load of balls to me
I posted a composite map for the Fractures earlier but I think it was really too large and unwieldy to easily refer to so I made versions for the individual instances also.

That's...that's so beautiful. This is just like that scene in Ratatouille when Remy has the food-epiphany. Thanks.
Just attempted to 3box Supernal Chapuli and Shimmering Tarichuk.
Shimmering Tarichuk I got down to 27% before it killed me, I was on target to kill in about 17mins but the poison move gets really bad at lower hp and sch cure 4 isn't enough to keep up on its own unless you fulltime DT gear (which will lower your DPS too far to kill it).
Supernal Chapuli I got to 5% before it depopped on me. No real issues keeping alive, a couple of close calls but they would've been avoided if I was just playing 1 char. I only WS'd 5 times during its spells and its evasion seemed to go up for a short period then come back down. I was also using an acc heavy set and sole sushi so there is probably a decent amount of room for improved DPS when berserk was down (ie not capping attack).
Only reason I was trying to kill them is for beads but after that I would say Chapuli is definitely the 2nd fastest NM to down if you are targetting nakuul (twitherym is faster and moth is slightly slower).
If I was trying Morimar nakuul I would definitely bead out the eft, with a melee heavy set up it is going to kill people unless you get lucky, pieste would be a far nicer 2nd NM (after raptor) to face before a nakuul.
the cracklaw has magic damag immunity to some form.
Every SC you applies lets the 1. spell after that do full dmg. 2. spell half dmg 3. spell 1/4 dmg 4. spell 1/8 dmg. This applies to Magic bursts too.
its basicly spam SCs to reset the magic damage shield constantly, and its a fuckign bitch to fight. The best thing to do would be MBing it with highest tier spells obviously or going constantly SC and have spells go off.
I have honestly no idea how you want to speed up that fight. Coordinate SCs between melees and make an order or whatever. HOwever i had ally dmg filtered so I dont know how much dmg melee WSs usually do on this but blms were MBing for 4k dmg (if first spell).
would be nice if someone could give a hint or two on how to speed up this fuckshit of a fight.
Weird that you have issues on Eft and none on Peiste. It's the complete opposite for us.
Both are pretty quick fights with the Eft being the quicker of the two. Eft has never killed anyone for us though whereas the Peiste does occasionally potshot a melee.
Well in all honesty I've only fought the pieste twice. The first time with a retarded setup because people thought it was going to be another SA Shoha slog but I ended up tanking it on Sam/thf majority of the fight and it died in 13 mins. I never experienced high damage from delta thrust and all its other tp moves and magic seemed fairly tame.
I've only done eft low man and its magic damage is the primary issue at lower hp. It gains so much fast cast its almost insta casting and when it only hits 1-3 people it can easily take someone out with a followup attack/tp.
I made pages for all the Delve NMs on the wiki. I populated the basic information and added notes for some of them but a lot of the pages need some more info. Feel free to go in and add any new info you might have. If you add any weakness theories, make sure they use verification tags ( {{verification}} ) until we've pretty well confirmed them.
