    Okay, I figured it could build up a resistance to stun, but I hadn't seen it as a tactic to evaluate it properly. Was curious if that would be something that could be used to alleviate the PUG problems I've been seeing on delve nm clears I've been joining up to help get people clears on (and let's be honest, the mindless beatdown of nq mobs in fracture bores the shit of out me, lol). Guess not. No substitute for everyone knowing their shit and knowing how to play, lol.

    The first 3 got used and bumped u up a rank it takes 3 elixars /30rp for first one so if it says 50rp now u are past the first lvl. So no they didn't get wasted

    Why would they have nerfed matamata? It's not like it's any faster to kill than the others. Yes, it's extremely easy, but so what?

    The first time we ever fought him, we didn't force him to continually use emetic discharge. SCH wasn't in the party so we had to rely on dia and burn. My ranged attacks were doing 70-200 the first fight, with exactly the same DD setup. There were 2 RNGs. Second fight we used helices + dia + maybe burn, not sure if BLMs used it, and my ranged attacks were doing 700-800 depending on berserk etc. He seems to use emetic discharge immediately once enough enfeebles are present on him (like wamoura). I wasn't aware of the damage type being significant, but regardless, you certainly don't need mura SAMs to kill it quickly.

    I can't 3 box any other NMs averaging 5 an hour with 0 risk of death and barely paying attention for the first 6mins of each fight. Its ability to be low manned isn't exactly in keeping with everything else in delve.

    Plus look at how concerned about congestion so far... now imagine 6x as many groups doing 1 nm then the others just because of required numbers

    Was easily stunnable by a sch/blm and me as blu using temporal shift. Gained moderate resistance to stun at about 18 minutes in, with the sch casting stun about twice as often as the myself (both resisted once @ 18 minutes)

    Yeah your ranger does good dmg cause you have more DD's whacking it making DD dmg less, but magic/rng dmg higher.
    Suggesting you just use rangers means your rng dmg totals go up, thus rng attacks do less overall. Best way to kill this is everyone doing even amounts of diff damage types. You are doing 6k coro, but are your dd doing 5k ws's too? I'd bet more like 1k.

    Anyhow not saying ranger isn't good. Just don't say to 'just bring rangers' cause then people will bring a shit ton and do shit dmg to it and prob lose hehe.

    Watched a group attempt kurma several more times. Watched him spam tortoise song TP moves in a row about 40% in and reset their magic damage bonus. Saw once instance of tortoise stomp followed by tortoise song with only auto attacks and cures from players in between. To me, this means that the song most likely isn't triggered by player actions but is just done randomly since A) if the trigger were auto attacks and cures it would be from reaching a certain threshhold and B) it's not that either because he spammed it four times in a row after not doing it for most of the fight. If that makes any sense. This group seemed to be testing the silence theory as well, but to no avail - the frequent immunobreaking and resisting meant that it was down too often to determine if it was legitimate or not.

    So is Delve the answer for RDm usefulness because they sure have become useful now sticking all these debuffs?

    They're still competing with a DD's slot, because enfeebling isn't impossible(or necessary) on other jobs. Very little has changed: is Dia3 worth losing someone else? No? No RDM; Is Dia3 worth losing someone else? Yes? Cool, RDM, and some enfeebles

    Only exception I can think of is peiste, but that's still probably just a matter of stacking as much macc as possible

    rdm is never worth it for dia III, just make your cor dia II=>light shot X2. For peiste we use sch to blind(and they also serve as stun).

    Red Mage can land Gravity II in addition to Dia III though, for highly evasive mobs

    It can theoretically land Gravity II, but in my experience, most of the NMs are fairly resistant (to most enfeebles, not just Weight), and Gravity II's long recast makes it obnoxious to maintain on some mobs.

    In case anyone was wondering, based on JP Wiki info, the last stat on the MP and MP (Pet) paths for Delve augments are Magic Atk. Bonus and Pet: Magic Atk Bonus, respectively. They appear later than typical for 3rd augments, only at rank 8 and beyond. So the sets are MP/M.acc/MAB and MP/Pet:M.acc/Pet:MAB. Based on the scaling of the three paths, it looks like the final values will be 50/8/8 with MAB really only becoming relevant at the final few ranks. These paths are only available on mage weapons (Soothsayer, Mondaha, Yaskomo). Seems like a rather gimp hybrid option for straight up m.acc/mab (considering the alternatives are 13 MAB/10 INT/10 MND or 13 M.acc/10 MND/10 INT), but an interesting option on the SMN pole as the other two options still have INT/MND for the player (wtf?).

    Well that sucks, they should have at least given the option to give SMN some augments on Bokwus.

    Yeah, the only reason I suggested RNG is because I assumed the gnat was weak to piercing. Either that or his -dt can actually go into the positive. 768 was max damage with adaman bullets I believe, and this was definitely over 800 (which should be higher than damascus bullets would allow). Strange that physical BLU spells do well on him. I guess they count as magic damage, or maybe it's specifically weapon type, slashing, piercing, blunt, magic? Or is it only ranged/melee/magic?
