    Our first tojii all it wanted to use was baltholithic shell which is horrible stoneskin when you're already hitting for gimped damage, and today it was lahar spam

    Yeah, you're basically hoping it spams Pyroclaustic Surge or wtf it's called.

    Also forgot, it gains access to Dispelga at some point too.

    i dont remember reading anywhere that killing NM's opposing to locking them out via beads nerfs NM's though.

    The 50% Tojil was with Bead locking. The 5 NM run was the previous run where we just dicked around with Tojil, didn't try anything serious. There was no noticeable difference between bead locking and killing all the NMs with no beads.

    That is because we had +5 scherzo on. Tetsudo Tremor is still highly dangerous if blms are not kiting.

    Have you guys been using a Geo on the Delve mega-boss, not that it appears that wouldve helped on the shark, or with meteor spam.

    We did. GEO debuffs are very useful for pretty much every NM.

    What's better in your opinion: Indi Def Down + Geo Torpor or another combo? I hate being in the line of fire but cest la vie.

    We do eva down/def down. Our geo sit on like 40% pdt/capped mdt ? Something like that

    Sorry for knowing nothing about GEO, but do you only need one to get a high degree of utility?

    Or does it take two to get multiple good debuffs on?

    Can do one from the distance (the GEO spell) and one that you need to be up close for (the aura-like Indi).

    Im curious as to your setup jem, especially if you are getting kurma down so fast. We can do the first 4nms in around 20 mins but kurma just takes forever with melee!
    Our setup is:

    DD DD DD BRD COR WHM
    DD DD DD BRD COR WHM
    PLD RDM SCH BLU GEO SMN

    Any tips?

    same here, i can imagine most DD setup can kill all 4 NMs fast but the kurma will be a massive block

    how you guys bring down kurma with a DD setup in 20 mins?!

    10min ish, we dispel shell, we rebuff after song, we use debuff(geo, dia, impact), our melee are sam and drk

    Not sure about the BLMs, but there was no scherzo in my party because I'm a horrible BRD; Tetsudo only ever did ~800-900 damage to me even when I didn't have protect. Definitely dangerous if he does it twice in a row.
