Time we had a thread about this guy.

Perhaps you saw this video from GameTrailers in which an affable fella at a small desk talked about what Sony really needed to do to capture our hearts during the PlayStation Meeting in February. He then followed up that with the takeaways in the aftermath of the conference.

Following that GameTrailers has given him his own show, The Final Bosman. Every month since he's produced a new video for them.

Now it has gone weekly, updating every wednesday with the focus largely seeming to be the relationship between game publishers and the people who play their games.

I really like his style. He gives off the vibe of a guy who really loves video games and finds a way to express himself without being cruel or needlessly cynical. It's a lovely tonic to the usual smug, vulgar bubble most personalities on the web live in. I have really high hopes for him in these next two months with the XBox reveal soon and E3 shortly thereafter.

"The Phantom Pain is the Last Guardian" and following head explosions is pretty great. He comes across as sincere because of his calm demeanor.

This guy deserves very high marks for his coverage around E3.

Pre-E3 he put up some predictions. Spoiler Alert: Shocking accuracy when he's not joking around.
During E3 GT put him on live and he reprises his 'Nintendo is a doddering elephant' impression and is otherwise breathlessly enthusiastic about the experience. And unlike Keighley I can honestly feel like Kyle is 'one of us.'
And then there's the time he spends on the show floor, which speaks for itself.

Too many smiles and near smiles in his reactions for it to be mine. It was pure horror from start to finish (since I walked away and missed the No Man's Sky trailer and watched that later) for me. START TO FINISH. I still can't really think about it with any legitimate feeling that it was really real.
