Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens

As a first time watcher, I can recommend for potential newbies to the franchise. Looked up some tl:dr while waiting for previews to start for a brief summary of the background. Wasn't totally needed, but was helpful for understanding some things.

I kind of hated that they downplayed the shit out of Captain Phasma... I was expecting her to be some badass motherfucker who fucks peoples days up, but no she gets as much screen time as Luke...

I don't recall seeing any of the old STAR WARS scene transitions. The beginning of the movie also seemed like it was kind of rushed to me, with how often everything just kept falling into place.

That part when Kylo Ren first removed his mask there were like 3-4 people who laughed cause the baddy is a skinny pale nerd with acne. Anyone else have that happen? I laughed at the laughing.

Also BB-8 best character! Just like TARS & CASE and Watson from Jeopardy. I for one welcome our new computer overlords.
