So I just heard from Mario Lopez that it's going to be called Star Wars Episode 7 Thee Ancient Fear. Take it for what its worth.

Max Von Sydow = plagueis?
maybe he really did find a way to live forever
In the novels at least Bane had already discovered a way of doing that so could even be him possibly. And Plagueis was a Munn so would take a lot of makeup and effects to put him on. Don't think that they would cast Von Sydow for that role.
Story spoilers coming out of the Tatooine filming currently taking placeSpoiler: show
Spoiler: show
Granted Lucas isn't involved anymore, but he HATED Dark Empire so I can't see them trying to use any plot points from that.
i don't remember what dark empire is, but if lucas hated it it must have been decent
Dark Empire was when the Emperor returned as a clone to continue harassing Luke, Han, Leia. Luke eventually fell to the dark side during the series joining the cloned Emperor before Leia helped return him back. Later on in other novels it was said that Luke's fall to the dark side was a ploy by him to get close to the Emperor and find out his plan and learn a bit more about the force from him. Also of note from the series was the debut kind of of Anakin Solo the younger brother of Jacen and Jaina. That was probably part of the reason Lucas insisted Anakin Solo be the Solo killed off during the New Jedi Order series as it was originally supposed to be Jacen.
oh yeah, that. wasn't there a luke clone from his hand, too?
anyway yeah that sucked.
The clone made from his hand was the Thrawn trilogy.
fuck yeah clones, bring back vader without the suit fuck it
Sooo...everything starwars after return of the Jedi is because of clones? That sounds kinda...boring.
No only a very few storylines involved clones. The thrawn story is incredible
Man...I suddenly like Star Wars a lot less now haha.
Not even close. There were only two story arcs that really used clones after the Return of the Jedi and they both came out right around the same time at the start of what became the EU. One was Dark Empire with the cloned Emperor and the second was the Thrawn trilogy which used the leftover cloning technology the Emperor had hidden on a desolate planet protected by an insane Jedi clone and was also used by him to clone Luke from the hand he lost in Empire Strikes Back. After that I can't remember any further clone stories off the top of my head that wasn't set during the clone wars.
The Hand of Thrawn came back and humanized a bunch of the leftover clones Thrawn made for his war effort. Also:
Spoiler: show
Dark Empire was decent, but did get ridiculous. Emperor: "I made a clone of my self! Just kidding, I have HUNDREDS SO YOU CAN NEVER DEFEAT ME!"
There better be some Jagged Fel in this shit. Otherwise fuck all y'all!
