Looks like a bomber to me. It's a bit wider than even Vader's. The transporters were the upside down Y looking ships.

Doubt it's a spoiler considering the artist responsible has been dead since 2012 and didn't have any input on any Star Wars films other than the original trilogy. Ralph McQuarrie paintings are awesome anyway though.

This one's from 1976 and depicts more or less the same thing. That's a prototype Chewbacca in the background and I'm pretty sure that they recycled the Luke prototype for Lando's costume.
