This morning I was watching the LA news channel and they were all hovered around Amanda Berry's house because they heard she was going to speak to the press. Someone came out and said no, then her sister came out to make a speech. When the camera guy tried to move the camera, the video froze and you could hear one of the crew at the news station shout "OH FAIL"

Made me laugh harder than I should have.


Really sad, though, they stated that Amanda's mother passed away already.

I think it's utterly disgusting that the press would even think to interview someone so soon after they go through such a horrific thing. There's a level at which our society needs to learn to leave people be. The 24 hour news cycle seems to have no regard for other people and I think that's wrong.

They were told she was going to speak. Even the anchors were like "wait really? this is shocking she'd want to talk to anyone." Don't get me wrong, it means some idiot got a wrong tip, but ya they were going off the idea she wanted to.

Is it just me or did his story change between the two interviews? Originally he was like there was nothing out of the ordinary, he was just a normal guy. Then in the other interview he started talking about how he always thought there was something wrong with the house.

Talk about hindsight is 20/20.
