That episode was great. Felt a lot like a season finale but still 3 episodes left! Still my favorite show in TV.

Gonna kinda feel robbed if Slade doesn't get offed at the end of the season. Can't see there being much island story left and tonight will more or less put Ollie into rage mode.

Shit was amazing. And no I don't want Slade to get offed he is to much of a badass.

Things aren't going to conclude amicably without it feeling incredibly forced, though. When it comes to physicality, sure, he's been a decent villain, but he's also had some powers of convenience in the plot when it comes to wealth and other things. I can't see there being much more to the island sub-plot, either, as we're seemingly at the point where Ollie thinks he kills him and takes his eye once that confrontation begins. And even if he does somehow survive, becoming random villain of the week will be a downgrade and probably piss people off about his wasted potential, too.

At the very least, S3 has some pieces in place to guarantee its run. The city'll probably fall to shit despite the new mayor's best efforts. There's still the mirakuru army out there (though this may get wrapped up this season), as well as whatever happened to Grundy. I have now doubt Malcom and the LoS will be making an appearance, too. Maybe we'll even get some Flash tie-ins. Hopefully Laurel will grow into a useful character after going through all her little shit these past 2 seasons. Summer Glau may also curse the show yet. Plus whatever other villains they can create or bring in, as I'm honestly not versed in the GA universe specifically.

Well the mayor actually works for Slade. And reason for me doubting / wanting him to die is because of how popular a villain in the comics he is. I am sure Malcom will come in and help them fight Slade though. Next season I can see more LoS and maybe Ra's, mixed with the corrupt mayor plot.

Batman. But to be fair we haven't got THAT much action from Slade (he IS badass sure, but the most he has done is free the guys from the bus and getting punked by two geeks)

I could go for some more screen time of Slade going Gladiator on some bitches.

Either way, I expect a big fight by the finale. It simply CAN'T happen if they want to please fans. Overall, Blood being mayor leaves enough potential for him to keep doing shit behind the scenes because GA thinks he took out the masked dude. We're also looking to need an injection of some fresh, stable characters in Oliver's life since 2 have died, one just left, and his big nemesis is like to go MIA/die. Sure, this could be used as a way to get Diggle and Felicity more screen time, but they'll need to grow in some manner, too. And, well, you can't actually kill more people to make the show feel impactful if no one is left to kill.

they didnt evolve/build Roy enough still and they could still bring merlin back (which after the last episode seems more then likely, he might to protect speedy or have renvenge for moira). didnt they say they wanted to bring nightwing in?

I think it's a 100% chance that Slade kills Sarah in the season final, resulting in lesser sister going emo and avenging her sister in season 3. I think there is a chance Slade persists for more than just season 2.

I wouln't be surprised if Sarah went to go find Nyissa (or however her name is spelled) for backup, and then Malcom also making a small truce with Team Arrow to stop Slade.

I doubt he'll die. Even if he does, they'll most likely bring him back later. The dynamic between the two actors is too good to just throw out.
