They already showed Malcom Merlin for like 2 seconds at the end of last nights episode during the preview for next week. Doubting it's a flashback cuz that'd be kinda retarded.

I put money on Sara coming back with Talia and some of/most of the League to help handle the situation. Also that they don't bring Barry back at all in the last few episodes. Also lol at Glau's massive forehead with that mask.

I'm just hoping Flash makes an appearance with the cure to save the day. As long as Felicity/Diggle live through this season I will be content. Oh and Thea.

But what the hell with Laurel and her trench coat, capris, and some sneakers. Couldn't she pull a leather jacket out of Ollie and Co's leather jacket closet to at least try and look the part. It looked like she was on her way to the gym and stumbled onto an alleyway mugging.

Yeah, definitely expecting Sarah + LoS vs Glau and roid goons while Ollie and Merlin team up vs Slade.

Yeah now that you say that, it would be pretty awkward for the Flash premiere if he was already shown awake and using his powers in Arrow.

Weren't they originally intending the season finale of Arrow to be kind of like a tie-in for Flash or something lke that, but later decided to go against it? It's possible flash helping arrow was originally part of the plan, but they later decided to scrap that idea.

Pretty sure it was announced AAAAAAAAAAAAAGES ago that barry allen was making an appearance in episodes 8&9 plus episode 22. pretty sure it was posted here on the forums.

That was before it got optioned for a pilot. After it got a pilot they said they had to rewrite the ending and Barry out since it didn't fit in the story of his pilot.

The Flash would have appeared as Barry Allen in Arrow episodes 8, 9, and 20. The last one would have served as a backdoor pilot, which is being directed by David Nutter. Here's an explanation of what the network is doing now, "Episodes 8 and 9, in which the superhero is introduced only as his alter ego Barry Allen, have already been shot. But now the CW has opted to film a traditional stand-alone Flash pilot instead of doing a backdoor pilot as Arrow‘s Episode 20. With Episodes 8 and 9 serving as an origin story, the plan was for The Flash character to make his debut — red costume and all — in Arrow‘s Episode 20. He will now do it in the pilot."

Here is my wish list for next week's finale:

Slade alive but Mirokuru (sp?) free.
Glau dead because she kills off my favorite shows and I'm more scared of her than I am cancer.
Sarah dead (don't wish this, but needed as plot device) at Slade's hands.
Laurel disfigured and becomes black canary to honor sister.
Flash returns to help (we already know isn't happening).
Roy alive, but still super powered.
Speedy I dunno....dead as a plot device might be interesting.
Felicity alive and with as little clothes as possible.
Dig gets the help of that team from that one episode that was apparently a thing in the comics and they kick a little ass.

And then a bad-ass huge fight to resolve it all.
