Its nice to see that a city like New Orleans get closer and closer to normal (for them) again each year.

Wouldn't this belong in the gun violence thread?
Why would we do that when we can create a new thread to sensationalize each and every instance of gun violence.
Someone did post it in the gun thread and was accosted by another poster because a topic already existed here.
DUBBLE STENDARDS
I made a new thread because it was about a shooting at a public event/space by multiple suspects which reeked of something more than a simple shooting. I didn't know we could only make new threads if bombs were involved.
edit: the number of injured has been upped to 19. No fatalities, several critical conditions.
Dang, hopefully there won't be any fatalities. Kinda weird haven't heard much about this though. Ain't this terrorism btw? Perhaps because the perpetrators aren't extreme-radical-muslim-fundamentalists?
It's likely not terrorism. Terrorism is about intent.
If people died, it would be a mass shooting. As it is, it's a shooting.
Probably some ghetto beef bullshit, honestly. Empty a clip at a guy who happens to be in a huge crowd of people.
It's New Orleans. They give no fucks.
Poor brother gets shot and white people tell him to lay on his stomach and start putting his hands behind his back.

never knew the term casualty did not refer to a fatality, when it says 12 casualties and 11 injured, what's the difference between injured and a casualty if they're both alive?
the injuries are not bullet-related?
Injuries are designated for non-combatants.
