Personally I thought it was kinda weird with that one episode ending with the creator jumping the wall, then the next episode it was like that event never happened. I noticed a few subtle things here and there that I thought was weird.

It kinda felt like a "we'll pursue this with season two, assuming season two" followed by a generally feels goody "well this might be the final episode." But yeah, lots of loose ends.

Two or three weeks ago Urban said in an interview that if they cancelled it, he was done with tv; too much bullshit, long hours, and he didn't get to see his family for six months while filming. A pretty passive aggressive statement and just kinda assumed it would get get the go, especially still being the fourth place drama with a botched airing.
Really I blame everything on reality tv and these contest shows.
