SCOTTSDALE, AZ. MAY 15, 2013 -- Amy’s Baking Company will host a Grand Re-Opening on Tuesday night, May 21, following unflattering portrayals on national television.

Customers will be able to decide who is correct: a famous celebrity chef or the marketplace that has supported the small, locally-owned business for six years.

When re-opened, a portion of proceeds will benefit a charity organized to bring awareness to cyber bullying.

Seating is limited. Reservations may be made by emailing [email protected].

Diners will also have the opportunity to meet, and judge for themselves the character of owners Amy and Samy Bouzaglo, who have devoted their lives to and earn their living from their small restaurant. The Bouzaglos have been married for 10 years, after Sammy emigrated from Israel.

The owners will likely be holding a press conference before the Grand Re-Opening and answer falsehoods depicted on a reality television show, including assertions that the restaurant confiscates tips from servers.

In fact, wait staff is paid $8-$14 per hour, two and half to nearly five times the standard hourly wage for servers.

Questions will also be answered about what happened to their Facebook page.

Amy’s Baking Company was recently featured on the hit PBS show “Check Please” and has received A+ reports from CBS 5 for kitchen preparedness.

I travel on bullet train from Japan to Arizona to eat American dingdong from Amy-san's baking. Website states she make homecooked dingdong, just as great as American Walmart dingdong. My very being yearned for homemade dingdong in my mouth. I go there and after pass old Yakuza gangster at front desk, talk to Amy-san behind counter. She standing behind counter like white geisha, smiling profusely, with perfect teeth and Asian-slant eyes. And big American melons. I ask about her famous dingdong. She tell me, "homemade daily." Exact quote. Very impressed. I tell her: my heart yearning for her dingdong into my mouth. So she go to backroom and I hear sound of box torn open, followed by sound of rustling cellophane. Then Amy come out with expertly crafted dingdong. Dingdong is 3 inches long, 1 inches wide... yellow, porous, and plump with creamy filling... Immediately! I buy dingdong for fair market price: $50 US.

How to explain dingdong? Placing inside mouth, so long almost choking. Try not to gag. Cannot breath, almost passing out. Creamy filling explode in mouth. Tasting sweet, not sour. No spit, I swallowing. Verdict? I like homemade dingdong into my mouth! Amy-san's baking deserving 5 Star!

Don't get me wrong, I take tv show editing with a grain of salt, and I've heard that for Kitchen Nightmares the crew strongly encourages people to complain n' stuff. But no editing could have change the fact that Samy in the show admitted they take the servers' tips. That's all the proof that's needed.

ya maybe you can tell, but if you watch it the owner directly states he'd give them the tips if he felt they deserved it. So dunno how that could have been edited. You'd know more than most though.
