I wouldnt say the actors themselves are terrible, just the characters they play are awful. Big Jim and Junior piss me the fuck off. Barbie and the redhead are pretty decent though.

I'm enjoying the show, mainly because I know it's just a summer series. I'm past the point of return anyhow, I got to know where the fuck that thing came from now

This is pretty much where I'm at. I doubt I'll watch a Season 2 if they make one, but I'm OK with watching the rest of this one.

It's TV fodder that I watch in the morning. junior is so terrible of a character though that every scene he is in annoys me

The show got renewed for a second season.

I'm not a fan of this, actually. I think this story works much better as a limited series.

Same here. I think the show is actually getting a bit better, but I don't know how they're going to keep it interesting for a whole second season.

I agree w/you. I've enjoyed the last few episodes much more. I just wonder how far the story will progress since it got a season 2

I was definitely a hater early on, but I just caught up with the last three eps and I agree it's getting better. The acting hasn't been as shitty and the scifi elements are interesting enough to keep me watching. Bummed it's no longer a one-and-done series though.

some of the actors are not very good. specifically joey and junior. idk how they made thru casting. i'm still interested to know wtf is going on... haven't read the book. are they gonna drag the whole thing out across 2 seasons now so idk wtf the dome is about until 2015?

Maybe. If they're smart, maybe we'll find out what the dome is this year, and they'll spend the next year trying to get out of it. They need to provide some answers, at least.
