Besides 1080 vs 720p, only known difference is ps4 version will require ps+ subscription to play online, while ps3 doesn't.

The online is supposed to be crossplay between both versions, so (unless they've silently killed this feature) it shouldn't matter which you buy really apart from your peripherals. On that note it's possible for devs to enable ps3 pads/sticks on ps4 with custom drivers (mike z is doing this for skullgirls apparently) but I wouldn't count on arcsys doing it.

I would assume because poverty that PS3 will be tournament standard for the time being, which will be nice since that means PS4 pad for controllers that ban wireless.

Otherwise come Evo next year prolly gonna have to gut a controller to remove the battery, assuming it would even work without it.

For those who have a JP account that has PS+, the Xrd demo is available. Comes with a tutorial mode (Sol only) and a Arcade mode with just Sol and Ky.

This game is absolutely beautiful.

PS4 only, PS+ only, Japan only, it's like Arc only wanted the smallest possible audience to demo it.
