No big i guess, guess i may be investing in a ps4 stick sooner than expected.

Will play on ps3 in the meantime, at least it didn't become so drastic like the days of snes sf2 where character sprites and animations were cut hard.

Not at the moment, it could potentially be added later. Going to grab a TE2 after the holidays.

I use 720 fulltime anyways so that everything plays nice with my capture gear, no real loss on the PS3 version, will just play PS4 in the living room if I want shiny graphics

I need to replace the JLF in the stick I use for anime games anyways so it's not that big of a deal to shell out for a TE2, but ffs $200 is a bit much for a stick

I don't think the underlying PCB for the PS4 pads is that different, could very likely just make your own stick if you want to ball on a budget.

Last I checked the problem had something to do with the bluetooth; I believe Gummo has made a PS4 controller multimod solution but I haven't kept up with it really. TE2 is kinda perfect for anime since everything is going to be either PS3 or PS4 and you don't have to worry about which.

Yeah, supposedly PS4 will try to re-authenticate any sticks via bluetooth every 8 minutes. That's why some versions of PS360+ will work on the PS4 but only for 8 minutes at a time...

My impatience has gotten the better of me and whenever play Asia decides to clear my payment on a Hong Kong PSN card gonna grab it.

The JP and HK versions are in full English which is a nice change of pace from the old GG games where even the NA versions still had move lists in Japanese.

for those considering importing word is if you didn't preorder Elphet is locked for two weeks on JP version but available on HK version

Payment went thru and downloading now.

Fwiw, game is 5.67 GB plus a 1.53 GB update.

Hong Kong version is a little cheaper then the JP version, about $54 bucks for the PS4 version.

Challenge mode (combo trials) are really good, seems almost entirely like practical trials and not just ridiculous flashy stuff.

For the HK version there's no issue with setting myself as US Eastern Region, though the lobbies currently appear completely empty for obvious reasons.

Actually nvm, 18 person lobby in the Boston area.

Alright, after fucking around for a bit with the HK version, I think I'm not even gonna have to bother with buying the NA version. Except for having to confirm menu stuff with Circle instead of X I'd imagine there will be no real difference with the release in 2 weeks.

I'll have to buy DLC on the HK PSN store but that's a minor concern since I have roughly $14 left since it was a $70 card.

Also, Boss Ramlethal is hard as all fucking hell with Potemkin, Jesus christ.

Blowing thru challenge modes to learn the characters -

Elphelt is awesome
Ramlethal is really really complex
Slayer has a gatling combo this time
Bedman is fucking crazy, I really need to see this fuckers frame data cause I have no idea what's safe or not

Also challenge mode is a little frustrating at parts because the list won't mention ground dashes, thankfully there are the demonstration videos.
