hmmm, i dono if the 1.01 update fixed something, but i'm running the game at the supposed "30fps" and that shit still runs at 60fps, at least in may's stage it runs pretty damn amazing on ps3.

The 30 fps thing wasn't true. I believe that basically quality mode can be subject to some occasional frame drops, but for the most part stays at 60.

The game will auto default to performance for online play.

Btw if you're in the Eastern US and looking for player matches, Boston lobby has been the main spot for the first week.

Depending on how many copies gamespot spit out today some other ones might fill out, but that's were basically all the players have been.

Where are you guys getting copies? Imports? I tried downloading Ephelt before getting a copy and the game wasn't even listed on the PS3 store.

Calli and I got PSN Hong Kong versions last week, other people snagged it because Gamestop is breaking the street date (which Arcsys apparently said is ok).

I think the people grabbing the physical NA version can't get Elphelt yet, they'll have to wait for the PSN store to update on Tuesday.

May trials are too much fun, tho not much you can utilize, quite a lot of just frame combos.

Around 24 for each character usually starts crossing into the realm of excessive execution. There's still some practical things (Potemkin HFB loops, some Slayer Crosswise Heel combos) past that point, but for the most part they seem to turn into combos generally involving using too much tension for not enough damage boost.

Someone may have gotten fired internally for it, but neither ArcSys nor Aksys has said anything negative and everyone I know has had no issues playing online, save for the netcode needing some patching.

Also, I think the netcode is probably OK. It was spotty at times during the weekend but I haven't really noticed any lag the last few days. My connection with Wolfkrone while playing on the PJS stream seemed perfect.

They get multiple warnings from the register if they try to sell a street-dated product before release. If the date were still in place, it wouldn't have been getting sold nationwide.
