it goes for everyone from Sign. Only one or two bug fixes happened for Elphelt. It's pretty much Arcade 1.03.

i did read original cast didn't get much of rebalancing, just threw in 6 new characters for $60. But i will gladly throw money to arcsys over capcom any day.
There are some minor changes with the old cast that I've read about, though most of the changes are more related to general system changes affecting specific situations for the cast. Leo had a Flash Kick/FD option select that got removed
Yea, seems like bugfixes overall, except for the 5D6 changes... Even if i threw the original combo, my opponent won't wall stick twice so it allows for a recovery. I already remodified my 5D6 combo for may, but comboing into her OD now is more character specific.
Be sure to play around with Blitz attack too. Level 1 wall splats, level 2 crumples (Level 1 does on CH too)
Oh yeah, the FD proximity OS. If you did something like DP>1 FD, there was a proximity OS. That's gone. There's a new one involving a normal and backdash that was found around a day ago.
Except for the specific differences that Xrd brings compared to the rest of the series, Johnny and Jam feel pretty much exactly like I'd imagine people would expect them to be.
After spending some more time with the character I'm not actually sure how I feel about Jack-O. Seems like a character where the round will probably be determined in the first few seconds. Whoever gets the initial advantage wins.
Not like it actually matters since I'm sure I'll just keep playing Leo unless I end up liking Raven.
As a Johnny player historically I for one welcome our new overlord. Although Sin is still a ton of fun, maybe I'll stick with him.
Is there any where I can actually learn how to play Johnny?
Are you looking for vids? Matchup notes? Combos?
all of the above
For the latter two, I don't know if there's a Discord yet for Johnny players. Dustloop may be a decent place to start.
There also this old Evernote put together by lolAlp which was basically a rip of information from Brett and the JPs: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s559/...ce6b6e573bdc9c
For match vids, hit up http://www.keeponrock.in (this site goes for anyone, really. It's a gold mine)
Karinchu is probably the number 1 player you want to watch.
EDIT: Oh, Brett's been going hard on the wiki apparently: http://www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.p...GGXRD-R/Johnny
Ugh, I've been watching videos but I feel like everything is flying over my head.
For instance, the Evernote for some of Johnny's specials read as 'the same' and then when I try to watch match vids I'm lost on which moves are specials or normals...
I don't even know what the coin is good for lol... I may just try to learn Sin and come back to Johnny later in life.

How is it that you perform blitz attack? Or did that outright replace blitz shield?
edit: TBR is there an evernote with at least a character select? i wanna check out some May and Jam ones.
You still get Blitz Shield with just HS+S. If you press and hold, that's how it becomes Blitz Attack.
As far as an evernote for multiple characters goes, I haven't seen one.
A lot of the Jam tech/combos is being posted on Twitter between Doren (euro_wd2k), Amadeus (Amadeus4446) and a few others. Pretty sure they have a Discord too. I'd start there.
Whens PC port? Can't be assed to buy it for PS3.. though I might get PS4 because I want KOF14 too.
PC version likely won't be out for year or so.
Jam's bnb involving a 214k card requires so much effort to get about 150 damage. I love her tho, took a while to get her throw rc combo. Seems like all her combo enders involve 236k > 623k > 1 card 214k > forward dash c.S > 2HS (2 hit) > 46 (whiff parry) p > p
damn...
just goes to show how fucking incredible the game looks now just by giving the characters lighting.
Right now Zappa is just a cameo.
