Heard the PC rev2 patch is super borked. how could they fuck it up after 2 releases that were perfect??

Borked how? I bought it and fucked around for a few minutes with training and whatnot. Didn't notice anything weird other then fishing not unlocking anything for the 2 new characters.

Heard there's a 6gb patch that hits, and it causes online to be retarded, like actual people's framerates affect your frame lag (2f lag becomes 5f, and doesn't update). Game randomly falls to 30fps for no reason, and slows down.

Dunno, didn't play online but I haven't seen anything other then the fishing stuff I already mentioned.

Isn't the official release supposed to be tomorrow anyways? My guess is that stuff will get fixed tomorrow.

Yup worldwide release. Tekken 7 is also releasing "early" tomorrow for NA (on Steam) since it's worldwide at midnight CEST

For whatever reason version 1.02 will not download at all for me on ps4. Do I need to reinstall the game to fix it or am I fucked?

-SIGN- is currently on the Steam sale for a nice £7.99 in the UK.
-Revelator- is currently £22.99, a step up.

I'm not currently too interested in hardcore play, and want it more to stare at the visuals/story.

I was wondering if Revelator contains Sign's story mode? Or is the 2 independent (i.e. Rev continues from Sign's story). If this is the case I'll buy Sign now until Rev has a bigger price cut in a sale.

You don't really even "play through" Sign's story.
You beat Arcade Mode (which is like, two cutscenes) and that unlocks Story Mode, which is literally 2+ hours of just cutscenes.

It's all in-engine cutscenes, though, and looks very nice. It's basically a 2-hour anime with loading time. And if you finish it, you get almost enough points to unlock Sin.

Sounds good! I suppose I can just youtube it if that's the case haha, let me see what's available before buying. Sale ends in just under 2 weeks so I got plenty of time to decide. I enjoy the GG universe/chars... once upon a time I even read various fanfics on it, something I rarely do lol.

I brought Xrd (as mentioned a couple of posts before) but didn't buy Revelator. It's up on a halloween sale at the moment, and the "Rev2" upgrade is also on sale.

I was wondering, if I buy Rev 2, does it "replace" Rev? I wish to understand if I need to play Rev first (story wise) before moving on to Rev 2 which I cam see has some new story stuff. Or can I move straigh to Rev 2 and not be affected.

Gameplay/mechanics, I'm not as interested, so not fussed about that.

The story has an added section for the Rev 2 story and you can actually switch between the versions in the options.
