That is one of my favorites that I've found so far. Mostly because its "what the fuck" when you first look at it and then "what the fuck" again when you find out where it is. Also fuck Australia, stop being so pretty.

My most WTF location so far was a picture of a small hut on a glacier. No visible flags or signage and couldn't move very far from it at all. I decided to guess near Mendenhall Alaska thinking it would be near there or somewhere in Canada. Hell no, ends up being north of Longyearbyen (northern most populated place on earth). There are no roads anywhere on that island, why the hell did google go there.

Looks like the Ardennes? It's fucking Minnesotta (sp?).
Looks like Sweden? Fucking Alaska.
Road not unlike those found in southern African countries? Nope, it's not Botswana, it's USGeorgia.
Cyrillic letters? Have fun guessing in the huge ex-URSS area.
Desertic steppes? Aus or south US.

Closest I've been was a place with a "Mateus Bar". Mateus being a wine only made around Porto, that was quite easy.

Also: what was the google car doing inside the Bayen München stadium?

I think this may be geographically targetted... like, I live in Brazil, and 3 out of 5 places were in Brazil for me.

Might have been a coincidence, but since I only played once, it's hard to say.

I was off by 19km somewhere in Hawaii =\. Saw a sign on a store with the area code, lol.

28,510. The one I couldn't figure out to within 5 meters was in korea, and I was stuck on an island.

I got stuck on a random dirt road that looked like Australia. Couldn't find any signs or any civilization. I picked some random place in Aussie and it turned out to be in South America. Got 60 points lol - that's pretty terrible.

I found my exact location in the Czech Republic, but unfortunately finding the point FARTHEST away was difficult as it was southeast of new zealand by a thousand miles ish and that made it impossible to pinpoint on the map.

I have also learned that every language on earth is spoken and written in South America. Seriously I've seen French, Italian, Russian, English, and German signs from places that were down there.

I picked some random place in Aussie and it turned out to be in South America.

I guess it's not just me then after all, lol.

I've done this thing a total of maybe 5 times... and... I just got a place I've already had before. (Too bad I can't remember where it was.)
