My body is ready. I have both consoles on pre-order and the only games I bought are 3 different racing games. I think I might have a problem.![]()

6souls GIF perfectly demonstrates how I feel about what I just saw
These guys are the sole reason I'd ever get a Microsoft box. How can Polyphony have gone up against them so many times and still can't counter them?
what I dont understand is why Polyphony takes so long to develop their games, yet seem sub par in some aspects (i.e. sound).
I don't wanna bash Poly too much because possible BRP rule, but dear god, its like once Forza found their stride GT has been ass, or, perhaps, its just been exposed as the non-evolving fraud that it truly is. Its really no different from what it was in GT2, while the rest of the world has evolved and advanced.
Poly's sound is just horrid.
I cant say much since I'm going to get both![]()
jesus, i can't wait for this

thats some fuzzy math on the DLC releases.
So I'm not sure which upsets me more: Gran Turismo's corner-cutting laziness of reusing it's 1,000* "standard" cars from GT5 or Forza's extremely limited 200 highly detailed cars. Maybe i'm just in a bad mood today, but holy shit this news almost makes me not want to ever play a racing game again. I realize they both have their reasoning, but they have both had plenty of time to have a completed game. I'm not going to rant about GT (that's a whole other unacceptable basket of problems), but my god Microsoft/ Turn 10. They laser scanned the vehicles, according to one of the articles I've read. That's how they got the great precision. BUT! after 2 years of production (probably less on the cars I assume), it just doesn't seem like a legitimate reason for only have 200 cars.
DLC, they'll be added as cash-grab content.
Both suck in that sense, but I'll make sure I know which cars Forza has before buying. I'd rather have a true experience with 200 cars than a fraudulent one with 1k.
