Sony is pulling a Romney and not saying shit about what the console will do, yet everyone is acting like they have disclosed everything -Nope. I mean besides the spec, that are identical to XBO, they have told the public jack shit about the features the system will have.

I don't remember (and my memory about games is shit due to school) there being massive rumors about PS4 and playing used games. Hell, prior to the meeting we weren't 100% sure it was a PS4 announcement (up until 2-3 weeks before and things started to leak). So there was no incentive for Sony to come out and say "YOU CAN PLAY USED GAMES" because it wasn't a huge question. It was for Microsoft and they didn't do much to quiet the rumors any. Did Nintendo come out in support of playing used games at the Wii U announcement (I didn't pay attention at the time), if they didn't it's probably because it wasn't a huge question at the time. It was when May came around and Microsoft dropped the ball.

AFAIK there hasnt been a definitive "yes" in that regard, just speculation stating that it is "highly likely" from sources. Feel free to correct me if Sony has given a definitive yay or nay on that. I game on PC more than anything, so the purchasing keys and the used game thing wont bother me either way. Plus, I am a dickhead about my games and HATE stickers and all the shit Gamestop slops on their cases, so I either buy new or just DL exclusively. Demons Souls, P4A and now Dragons Crown, like the rest of my Atlus collection are sticker and goop free and are is godly condition.

But yeah, I can understand the rage of used games if I were a student or on a limited budget.

I was thinking the same but figured I'd start soft. If I buy something and I own it, I'm going to do whatever I want with it and if that means resell it I will. If a company wants to try and stop that with their product I'll look for other options in that product I'd like to purchase. Rarely is there only one of something. This is why competition is a great thing.

Regarding the purchase of used games I just think of the money I'd save by waiting for whatever period of time it takes for prices to drop. I recently purchased Fable 2 for $3 from my local Gamestop because I didn't want to spend much but wanted something new for me to play. I'm with you about the stickers Miz. Xbone is already boned because its has 3GB RAM (slower RAM, might I add) reserved for the OS whereas the PS4 does not have such limitations. Also, its already been confirmed that Xbone is approx 33% less powerful than the PS4. You need to do your homework.

This is interesting, would you be able to spoonfeed me on this? I haven't looked at the architecture since the early leaks and they looked similar enough. I've found that I like looking at architecture and comparing it a lot more now that I've actually done shit like design a 'cell lite' processor.

Again, im not sure the exact specs of either are 100% accurate besides the chip set and maybe ram? I havent kept up with it, but I've heard that they are similar. In what capacity I am not 100% sure though.


Edit: Just googled and see varying reports of specs for each. Ill bow out of that debate for the time being, seems each has their own agenda. Fuck em
