PS4
Xbox One
Both since I'm a spoiled brat
PC is superior
We won't see its effects right away, but PS4 having more then double the memory bandwidth is going to make a big difference down the line especially if 4k gaming gets big during this generation.
Is 4k even noticeable at less than 50"? Or is there some other benefit it has over something like 2k/1080?
There was some discussion in tech forum on that subject. Some info indictated that 4k really is useless technology at this point and for the near future.
Gaf is trying to get the word out to Sony (via Twitter) not to support DRM.

I don't believe HDMI 1.4a (which I assume PS4 will use) even supports 60fps 4K. Was limited to 24fps for movies or something-other? Isn't really that suitable for games outside of FMVs.
Regardless, at least both platforms are similar enough where multi-plats really shouldn't have any blatant visual differences, which plagued PS3 (especially on Unreal Engine games) for a good 4 years after launch.
Why I said down the line, ATM 4k isn't really happening unless you're running a super pimped out desktop into an obscenely expensive TV.
Damn, GAF is going hard!

People who don't speak out will just have to live with the consequences. According to recent "articles" Sony has stopped their DRM in its tracks for the time being. Now is the time to tell them how you feel.

lol @ those posters but thats too good lol
This is all I saw during launch of the BroBoxOne (thinking I'd betray Sony in an epic backstabber that likely will change my life forever). I'm glad someone captured my dream perfectly for me to review over and over again.
Always been a Playstation supporter. Had 2 PS1's, 2 PS2's and still getting life out of my PS3 and PSP. The newer addition (Vita) has already logged over 500 hours in to gaming. I think it's just quality of games for me. Playstation has always been more of a practitioner for the hardcore RPGer than the Xbox. While it has it's RPG style games, it feels more of a Fighter/Sports/FPS console. I enjoyed the time I logged with friends on their Brobox but asking them, they usually tell me they rarely play it by themselves.
If I want to revisit a classic fighter: Street Fighter Alpha 3 on the PSN! FPS gold? Battlefield! Classic RPG? Final Fantasy 1-9 and shift it to my Vita! Metal Gears? Check. Resident Evils? Check. New crappy free crap that wastes time on the crapper? Check. TV? Well I got a TV and I'm pretty happy with my service...
Here's the fatass you guys keep posting retweeting it

Still going strong. Pretty crazy how the turnout has been. None of this was planned... just happened.

I'm aware of that, I watched a friend of mine play a little bit of it, and it reminded me a lot of Uncharted (I've only played the 2nd one though)... which is both a good and bad thing, I suppose. Good because the gameplay is solid; bad because it was pretty much copying it, of course I only saw a small bit of it. Then again, I can't really say much because I've never played any of the original Tomb Raiders, lol. ^^;
I just find it odd that so many developers lately feel the need to radically re-invent their IP's when they've already got a favorable view in the eyes of gamers. I know part of it has to do with keeping them from getting stale, but still...
And let's not forget that Uncharted stole from Tomb Raider in the first place (and a couple other series).
Tomb Raider is one of the few franchises I have confidence in and look forward to playing now. The only thing the reboot lacked was difficulty and tomb length. I'm sure they've gotten enough feedback about the latter and they've already built such an amazing engine, I'll be playing the sequel even if it's not hardcore enough, without hesitation.
Some good points about how the overall industry is losing alot of creativity, loss of companies, production etc. that were brought up.
