I don't respect Sony as a company. Everyone is out to make money, but they've had a history especially riddled with underhanded and consumer-ignorant activities. They've lost a lot of respect in their home country and abroad, and it took me some time to purchase a PlayStation 3, as I only had a handful of reasons to own the console. For professional reasons, I should have had one sooner, but I managed to do without. I don't regret that at all. I still am not impressed by it. I don't touch it nearly as often as the other systems I own. After watching both of the reveals, I knew...

More than likely a PS4, or whoever offers the best experience tied to Destiny. Lots of negatives about this xbox but the xbro's who love madden and cod will convert. Was watching the reveal with some friends today and a buddy of mine his friend said the following.. "Homie I dont cur dat madden and call of duty looked so tight, I best start savin dem bones for tat shit right there." He was a homie and a typical xbro, everyone but me agreed. Microsoft will be fine feeding off idiots like these. I personally do not like being forced to use a kinect either.

Honestly, they should have just ended the reveal after "Xbox go home". That would have made it an automatic win, but they dragged it out for SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO long.

I'd be fine with the Kinect if it's not always actively listening. I would assume there'd be an option to shut that off for power-usage purposes though.

I said it on BG Chat earlier, but I'd really like it if devs used kinect for voice shortcuts since it'll be standard on X1. Stuff like quicksaves, equipping shit, possibly managing multi-tasked shit while the controller is busy with a game in progress, etc. Just things to keep you in the gameplay more without having to pause for menus, or check your friends list, etc.

[EDIT] Hell, I hope Sony includes the PS Eye with all PS4. A game like TIE Fighter would probably be playable on the controller if they could relegate a lot of the misc. functions (adjusting shield strength/direction, s-foils, etc) to voice commands.

On a serious note though, is there a single PC game comparable to this?

I can think of a few games let you chain attacks on enemies that don't move, react, or counter-attack, but they're usually replaced with target dummies.

The 360 was a piece of shit as far as being reliable. You want me to leave the XBOX One on at all times for watching TV and don't expect this to burn out the system faster? I love the idea of it, but it won't end well. They literally haven't shown anything good. I hope they see the responses.... Go Go PS4/PC.

The PS4 is alleged to use 1gb of memory for the OS, the question people need to ask is how much memory does the xboxjuan reserve. It will be the only real differentiating feature for games on this gen.

With supporting seamless tv/film/skype/snap stuff it would probably have to be higher than the ps4. Which means less memory available for the games.
