Has Sony released any new concrete information on playing used games yet? Last I heard they weren't locking them as previous rumors suggested, but they didn't say yes or no to a fee similar to xbox.
PS4
Xbox One
Both since I'm a spoiled brat
PC is superior

PS4 and also a WiiU eventually once Zelda, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, etc start dropping. I also got a new laptop a few months back so I'm doing ok for PC gaming too. The Xbox can go suck a dick.
No, Ben Kuchera and a few others said then when pressed about used games they were dodging the question directly and dancing around it. I'll see if I can find the link.

My guess is that Sony held their cards close to the vest and waited to see the reaction M$ would receive when announcing the used game fees. They'll probably make their decision based on that. Sony knows that they've got a leg up on MS at this point and can slam a nail in the coffin by announcing no fees etc. That would sway a lot of people.
Don't the majority of new titles require an online pass if you want to play o PSN? I remember resistance 3's and dead space 3 pass was $10 if you didnt have the orignal code. Obviously this isn't the same as outright preventing the game from loading without authentication, but most people don't seem to comment on online passes.
Sony has all the leverage at this point. They should literally scrap any plans they had for E3 and just do a large Q&A of every question people want answered; they don't have to actually take the questions from the crowd, but just have the question on the presentation and then explain, CLEARLY, the answer.
After that, say "time for some fucking games" and showcase the nuts.
Even if MS does the exact same thing, the general consumer is currenlty on Sony's side, so they will win E3.
E3 LETS GO
I agree entirely. If I had to guess they probably have/had a plan just like Microsoft and will now act accordingly to the response they're getting. Microsoft is too deeply invested in the XO to back out too far of what their plans are and Sony really can do what they please (at least based off what they've shown us so far).
But then again, didn't everyone think MS was delaying their conference to May so they could deal with all the negative feedback the used games/always online rumors were getting?
Look how that turned out.
Online passes only existed for multiplayer stuff right? It didn't actually lock down any single player content without it.
MS really dropped the ball on this all the way around.
Catwoman was basically a DLC though. It was an incentive to buy the game new. It still didn't lock the main single player game.
PC and PS4 for console games only.
Xbox: 1
PlayStation: 4
the always on thing has been avoided like a train. either way, ps4 as it stands.
Catwoman counts as singleplayer content that came with every new copy of arkham city and had to be repurchased for used copies. Calling it 'dlc' is incredibly disingenuous.
