Folks seem to be losing their mind over this.

I didn't know the video was this long. The TV news only showed the last few seconds of it (when a woman walks past).
I got to admit, I love how that woman walked by though. Either completely confused or no fucks given, but given the circumstances: ranting guy, bloody hands, revealing weapons, she could not have been blind to it.

On another note, someone compared this on my Facebook:
I'm undecided if that's the best comparison here. I see her point, but Irish is a race, not religion, afterall. So far the hate is pointing squarely at a religion, which just happens to comprised of mainly people from the Middle East. What makes it a bit awkward at the moment is that this guy is ... well, arguably, black, lol. When the IRA (an Irish terrorist organisation) bombed London back a while ago, we didn't go around calling all Irish terrorists.
This makes me think/feel, what if it was done under another religion? So say a similar incident happened and Jesus was mentioned, would we all turn on Christians like we (well, the UK) are doing now on Islam?
Either way I'm beginning to lose it a bit by bit with some people lately, it really does make my head hurt somewhat. What I said above might not be very coherent, it's a little difficult to express but it's depressing to see such reactions all aroun. Not even the US (as far as I know/recall) reacted like this as far as I remember (i.e. said it was a terrorist attack, followed by lashing out at a religion).![]()
Had this happened in the States, he would have been tried both as a black man, and as a Muslim. Fox news would be flipping their shit so many times they wouldn't remember which way was up.
Edit: I'm in no shape or form suggesting Fox already doesn't know which way is up, but merely using it as an analogy.
If he mentioned Jesus we would just say he was a looney and mentally unstable. It's only if they're Muslim do we say they're predisposed.

not graphic if your use to American action films.
So what exactly is the outrage? That the media is overexposing this incident or the claim it was terrorism? The killer himself pretty much said he was a terrorist lol.
Not to disparage that it was a horrible event, but I do feel that it shouldn't technically be termed a terrorist attack, since it wasn't a mass attack on the nation. Also, it's a slow news week so the media is playing it up too.
LOL black peopleTwo monsters crashed a car into a soldier named Lee Rigby on Tuesday in southeast London, and then they hopped out and murdered him with meat cleavers and a machete. In the interminable lull before police arrived to shoot the men, they danced over Rigby's body and demanded passers-by take pictures and video.
I'm suprised nobody was shouting Worldstar
But he wasn't? He was british. Dumb attempt to play the race card is dumb.
People are labelling this terrorism because it was, not out of some racist conspiracy. The killer was born in the UK, came from a devout chrisitan family, converted to islam and was radicalised by an imam now prohibited to step on british soil.
As for the low victim count: that's the new terrorism. Due to increased security, major attacks like 9/11 have become unpractical to organise, so they turn to smaller mini terrorist cells that are hard/impossible to infiltrate, often radicalised and taught how to carry out their attacks through internet vids.
In a single year, there's been Toulouse, Boston, Sarcelle (a guy threw grenades in a jewish shop - he failed to cause any victim, so the media didn't really report it) and London.
And that's Londoners. Scots go after terrorists bare-handed. And they'll punch a terrorist even if he's on fire.Crazy. The Brits don't mess around
