    X-SPlitter for XI Stream?

I got the video feed working alright, but the audio is sucking a bag of dicks, whether I go from mic, computer or both, it gets really weird and loud.

    How do I fix this?

If you're trying to stream then I would heavily recommend OBS over X-Split.

    Open Broadcaster Software
Brief guide to streaming with OBS on twitch.tv

It runs much lighter on your CPU and it's completely free. Which means you can stream your audio up at 320kb/s.

Can't get OBS to work at all. Get to "preview stream" in the tutorial and it crashes POL.

Is it running as admin? Can't say I have tried streaming FFXI with it before as it's not installed anymore.

Also, remember screen dim will crash ffxi, so you might need to lower your UAC settings (depending on which operating system you are running of course).

Yea tried as admin just now. Crashed it again. I can do it as software capture, but not directly as game capture

Definitely recommend OBS over X-Split. It performs much better from my experience.

Hm, IIRC there was a note that game capture is still kind of experimental and doesn't work with all games... So maybe your POL crash is one of the reasons for that note
But as long as software capture (or any other capture mode) works, should still be fine ^^

How do you save/make new profiles with OBS? I click file save and it pretty much does nothing and idk how to make a second profile

Will have to look into it when i'm home, but IIRC you just create it via right-click on the white space, set it up and it gets auto-saved.

€dit: so, what exactly do you mean with "profile"?
The stuff you set up under "Settings" can be saved in different profiles on the "general" tab.
Scenes and sources get auto-saved (at least for me).

Was able to figure it out but I had to do it outside of the program and in its folders to create a new profile. Wasn't ideal but hey it worked
