Trying to save 5 bucks on muling.

I'm about to reactivate, and I have 5 mules that I need to check to see what they have.

Anybody know how the charging works? Should I just pay the 5 dollars and activate them all? Or would it be possible to Activate one, clear it out, cancel that id, reactivate the next, cancel, etc.

Would I still be charged the max amount, or just 1 dollar since only my first char and one mule is active at one time?

If you didn't uninstall FFXI / get a new pc since you last played, there are programs that can read your dat files to show you whats on each character.
