To Aru Kagaku no Railgun S Ep 8

This show continues to be great, really; I'm almost amazed at just how well this show is being directed atm. Really loved the way the fight was directed, the awesome backgrounds and the dramatic music.

Hurray for first appearance of Item.

Definitely Prisma Illya, I guess the next monogatari would probably be Nekomonogatari: Shiro, I'd watch it for sure regardless

nothing else stands out, will probably watch Blood Lad

Kyojin is definitely ongoing too, so it's not too bad

I don't think I have much to say about this show that I haven't already said on multiple occasions. The aesthetics are great, the cinematography is above average for a TV series and the effects animation is great. I’m relieved the writers maintained the pacing without rushing through the story.

Next Week Level 5 vs Level 5.

More K-ON coming from KyoAni, saviors of anime.

They ran out of money, so the obvious answer is not to make a new concept, just make more K-ON. Of course.

Wait, what? Do you have a source for that?

    Found this on CrunchyRoll.

I would take more K-ON. I like it.

And the last few things KyoAni has done have not been anywhere as entertaining to me as K-ON, soo....

The anime didn't cover the last two volumes of the manga. One volume covers Yui, Mio, Mugi, and Ritsu in college, and the other covers Ui, Azusa, and Jun in their senior year.

Yeah I didn't dig Hyouka at all, it was so slow and the characters were bland beyond belief. Normally I don't mind slow shows (Aria for instance is one of my favorites) but like... it has to be full of SOMETHING, whether it be life lessons or heart or whatever and Hyouka was just full of nothing.

i thought making an anime full of nothing is what Kyoani strives to do these days?

Different strokes for different folks, I can respect that. I loved Hyouka and can't stand K-On at all. I personally found Hyouka to have a ton of subtle depth. The characters and story started off as very thin, but as the show progressed, they grew deeper and deeper and deeper. By the end, I was hooked on Chitanda and Oreki's relationship. And that very last day-dream scene, talk about a way to end the season, jeez

Well, Kyoukai no Kanata has some promise.
    http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...s-in-the-works
The dark fantasy follows a high school sophomore named Akihito Kanbara. Although the boy appears human, he is half yōmu and invulnerable to wounds because he can heal quickly. One day, Akihito meets freshman Mirai Kuriyama when it seems she is about to jump from the school rooftop. Mirai is isolated because of her ability to manipulate blood, which is unique even among members of the spirit world. Disturbing events begin to unfold after Akihito saves Mirai.

Then there's me. I loved Hyouka for pretty much what you just said about it basically, but I also loved K-ON. Still hoping Hyouka gets a stateside release, but I don't think anyone's licensed it as of yet :/

FMP is infinitely and unfathomably better than K-ON!

That said I love the fuck out of K-ON and would love to see more of it.

I didn't really enjoy K-On! very much. I was expecting it to be more like Beck: MCS. Instead they just sat around eating cake and drinking tea. I did love the shit out of the ending song though (Don't say lazy).
