This is a very simple thing, but just making note of this for anyone using a Charge Blade. Meat + Dairy at the Canteen gives Felyne Bombardier which boosts the phial attacks significantly.

@ Rata, ignore the fact that Dual Blade is 2 seperate weapons visually, it's still all technically one weapon. And explaining the math on weapon attack scaling and elemental damage could take awhile, but short version is that yes that is an extra 80 points of Thunder on top of the base 140 attack.

The damage you do per blade depends on the attack you do. Each attack has a specific damage value that gets multiplied by your total attack to determine how much damage it does. Using your example your DBs have 140 attack and you do the standard X attack which hits twice. The damage values of X is 13%+15%. So the first blade does 13% of 140 and the second hit/blade does 15% of 140. Every attack has a specific "motion value" associated with it and typically slower weapons have higher motion values while faster weapons have lower. Element is different in that you do the elemental damage everytime you hit regardless of what type of attack you use. So 80 element will do the same damage whether you hit with a 50% attack or a 10% attack.

You may have to set up line via Mobile first and then open the link there... it can be a bit annoying, but once you have it up you can do use the Desktop version too.

Do it Aki. So, gentlemen, never ever used the Gunlance online before today, so on a scale of 0 to fuck this guy, all he does is trip my constantly... how annoying was I? I am still getting used to what trips and what doesn't with that thing. I felt bad that every single time we toppled Nerscylla ... I would start my Wyvern Blast and catch Voyage right in the face with it. Every time.
