Wasn't too bad, we were just competing for the head cause I was trying to KO her with Phials. If I had my Rathian Charge Blade I would have just gone after her body with Element Phial. Really I can't complain about getting tripped cause I was tripping Rata pretty frequently with my axe side swipes.

Had problem on boat gore, area is too smal for me

Got a Gore Magala Plate as my first carve from the Urgent. Used up all my RNG luck on that one guy.

I had the plate as a break reward when you have to repel it on the boat, was a nice surprise.

It's one of the infamous 3-5% drop rate items. Though I don't know if it's just luck or the drop rates aren't as bad as they usually are. Seems like you get a shitload of reward rolls at the end of the quest maybe that's why it's more common? It's not strange to have 2 full lines of items on a single monster hunt which would be unheard of in 3/U.

I'm 3/3 on plates so far from my Gore fights. It's supposedly a 4-5% drop on carves (body or tail) or head breaks.
