Launching Thursday, July 11th

Deus Ex: The Fall publisher Square-Enix has confirmed that its mobile prequel to Human Revolution will hit iOS this Thursday, July 11.

In a press release sent to VG247 this afternoon, the publisher revealed that Deus Ex: The Fall will be available for $6.99/£4.99/€5.99 from the App Store on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

When I saw the price on the AppStore I was excited. When I saw that it offers in app purchases, the excitement started fading away.

SE said they will patch this and make it fully functional for all iOS devices, jailbroken or not.

Seriously though, glad I didn't buy this day one. Granted, I feel like a good chunk of jailbroken users pirate in some way but I definitely feel bad for those that don't and still got slammed by this.

Coming to Steam March 25th

Following last year’s release on mobile devices, we’re really happy to now announce that Deus Ex: The Fall is coming to Steam on March 25.

The game’s been adapted for the PC, meaning (of course) full keyboard/mouse controls, but also a whole bunch of other little bits too - so if you didn’t fancy dipping into Ben Saxon’s story previously, now would be an eminently sensible time to reconsider. After all, the game was produced with the original creative team from the superb Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and there's the small matter of new tracks penned by none other than Michael McCann...
